I got sick on Monday and was basically sick all week with a sore throat, fever, headache, and weakness. I wasn't 100% going to Mom's on Friday but I was better than I was the rest of the week. My appetite was off and everything tasted extremely salty to me. I didn't really get to enjoy the food when I was there. Besides that, had fun there. We just hung out the whole time. We played a portion of that new board game that Chris got and it was pretty fun. Holly was winning when we stopped playing and opened presents. The kid has like 20 different board games. I got for Christmas:
Bauer X40 Skates
Raquetball Racket (surprise present from mom)
Bradshaw Jersey
Sonic Care Tooth Brush
Stripe Figure
Gaborik Figure
Robot Chicken Figure
Backpack with Bladder
Hockey skates are beautiful. So light. I was afraid they didn't fit when I first put them on but you really have to unlace them all the way down to get them to open up. I didn't really want to ruin them outside but I'm going to get my use out of them and hopefully skate a few days a week at the rink. Chris got Jeremy a net for Christmas (which I still have to put together) so hopefully I can throw the net on top of my car and go to the baseball field right after I drop Jeremy off to school. Chris hooked up Rockband and I really like it. It's really neat and you really do learn the songs.
Made out pretty good. Really want to try out the skates but I have to take them to get sharpeneed. I don't know if they froze over the baseball field yet. I think I did good with Holly getting her that Forever Necklace, Novica Necklace and Sapphire necklace. Sure, they were a lot of necklaces but I didn't know what to get otherwise. She also got that tea set and everything that goes with it and the GPS.
Jeremy was supposed to go to Mom's on Sunday but the Poconos got like 8 inches of snow. We were supposed to get the same amount but we only got an inch.
Played a Magic Draft and thought I had a strong TSE deck but my opponent had ever answer to my threats. Pretty annoying. Played a SoM draft and the same happened. I can't win for trying.
Been playing Mass Effect 2 some and it's really good. Was trying to make ISK in Eve by moving products but I don't understand the market yet. I made a few million ISK but nothing to write home about. I may try it later in the week. I started grinding out Missions for the Theological Society.
The Steam sale is going on now and I bought a few games like Super Meaty Boy and a point and click game. I tried Meaty Boy, was fun but it's awful playing on the keyboard. I tried to hook up the PS3 controller but was having a hard time getting it to work.
Hit 85 on the Druid after grinding a few hours the other night. I hadn't but much time into the game since the expansion released with me playing an hour here or there and basically bored of grinding. But I was pretty bored the other night and decided to finish it up. I don't know what I'm going to do in the game now or if I'm actually going to resubscribe. I'd like to hit 85 on the Lock to do open World PVP and possibly arena but I really don't fell like doing it. I may try to tank with the Druid or even heal and I'll probably just start running some dungeons, gearing up for heroics and see what happens with it. I have to go through the buttons and bind everything good for pvp.
Hockey is starting on Sunday but there are more teams involved, as many as nine or ten as rumor goes. We may also be playing in the morning and night instead of just the night. I really wouldn't mind playing in the morning like we used to.
Been consistent with the weightlifting, besides the week I didn't do it because of illness. I bought new protein powder from Amazon and it seems to mix better than the old stuff, even though it doesn't taste much better. Haven't been consistent with drinking a shake on my day off. Also have to start running on the treadmill again, it's been a solid two weeks that I haven't run on there. I was to get the fitness up for hockey on Sunday.

Update
So what's happened the last few months?
School:
Only three classes this semester: Biology, Income Tax Accounting, and Intermediate Algebra. I'm awaiting on the Biology grade but I got a B in the other classes. Was hoping for an A in the math class but I guess I didn't do well on the final. As for Income Tax Accounting, I scored a 76, 84, and 88 on the tests. When the tests are 25 question multiple choice, there's little room for error. I also didn't do too well on the first tax project in the class. I did score a 96 on the final tax project. With math, I scored a 91, 86, and 79 on the tests. The 79 was weak because one problem I lost eight point for a stupid calculator intersection point of a graph and this should have been easy but I must've typed it in wrong. Biology was a real killer this semester. The most difficult class I've taken in a while. I hated the lab portion for the first weeks but started to like it after that. My lab group was decent and I think I made a friend in Bob, who lives in the neighborhood. We went for drinks with the teacher after the last class and we have plans to start golfing in the spring. The only part I'm nervous about is that he was a high school golfer and a good golfer overall while I was never really good at it. I had that streak for a few months that I could hit the balls decent but that was it. We'll see what happens. I'm still awaiting the Biology grade but it should be a B. I really hope it is, as I scored an 89 on the Lab final and that accounts for 40% of the grade. IT seems as if my teacher started curving up the test grades, something I noticed today. We'll see what happens later when the grade is posted.
I scheduled for the next semester which is: Intro to Computers, Speech, International Relations, and College Algebra. I have to go to school for Speech which is going to be a pain in the ass in the winter. I got the International Relations class after it was filled and someone dropped, which was really lucky. If not, I would've have to go for International Business on campus or waited until the summer for the online portion of the class. I should be done after there four classes but I have an online accounting class scheduled just in case I need another credit. I'm going to try to place out of the computer class, as it seems pretty simple. I would've rather taken C++ but there are no online courses.
Jeremy School and Wrestling:
Jeremy has been doing well in school. He started Speech Therapy a few weeks after school started. He likes school for the most part but still complains in the mornings that he doesn't want to go. He didn't do all that great this report card, probably because of his speech but hopefully he starts to do better. He was messing up on things like ABC's, which I really don't understand.
Jeremy joined wrestling a few weeks after school started. While he seemed to like it the first few weeks, he's about to quit it. He liked the practices but then started to dislike them more and more each week. He would execute the moves well when practicing with me but then totally fail in a real match. He had a tournament at Palmerton which he got pinned twice, pinned one kid and went the distance but lost in points. There was another match at Palmerton in which he just got dominated by every kid he wrestled and it was at this point that I think he finally wanted to give it up. Frustrating to watch him get dominated like that.
Victor:
Holly and I went to the Chinese Super Buffet and had to get Mack some dog food. Jeremy and I had just got done watching some nature shows the days before that and I was toying around with the idea of a snake. Holly really didn't want us to get it but then she caved in and we got him. She has even grown to like him. We're about to get him a new tank tonight after we go out to dinner.
Hockey:
Hockey started out rough with a twisted ankle the first week of the session. I called Big Wheel and told them to put me on a team and they did. Both Jay and Rob followed me over to the new team. I got into a fight with Brandon the first week after he gave me a cheap shot and then I hooked him. I kept calling him a "Faggot" and he went at me, which drew a penalty which really helped because my penalty would have put us a man down with only four minutes remaining and up by two goals. Two quick goals on that team was definitely a possibility. I was out the next week and got my new skates during the downtime. I decided to try out Mission and I'm glad I did. I'm really happy with the new skates. I make sure to take them out of my bag and put them up in the closet after I'm done playing so the bearings don't get rusted. I'll never buy another pair of Tour Skates again. I said that once but figured it was due to the abuse of the old Tours. I remember skating in the rain with them. I bought them specifically for outside use but I was never impressed with them, even if they were only 100. The rest of the session went Ok. We were in fifth place and played our old team for a playoff spot. We lost the game but I think the season as a whole was decent. There are problems on the team, like me having to play defense but that was the least of the worries. Going into the season, I was FAT. My fitness has been atrocious for months.
Fat:
I was basically a sloth for the summer, getting very little exercise. I played in that hockey league but didn't build up any kind of fitness. Basically during the league, I complained the whole time about how fat and out of shape I was. That isn't the type of player I ever want to be. I knew I was fat and slow and didn't do anything about it. The speed was contributed directly to the skates because when I bought the new ones, I was much faster and smoother. Didn't go mountain biking, only went kayaking once, it was a bad summer for exercise. I was the fattest I've ever been and I weighed in at 212 a few weeks ago. I've gotten to 200 where I've been for a few weeks now. I started a weight training program a few months ago, buying a cheap bench at Walmart. The bench wasn't quite big enough and chris wanted a bench so I sold it to him and bought a new one. However, the new one was half together downstairs for a few weeks before I finally got enough ambition to finish it. I've been consistent with the weight lifting every other day and have been taking protein powder after the workouts. I've just started taking the protein on the off days as well. I bought some new powder through amazon after seeing it get good reviews for both taste and price. The power at Walmart is disgusting and I almost threw it up today. The clumps don't come out while mixing. I'm hoping to get to 185 or somewhere around there. My running hasn't been consistent in the least and I need that to shed the weight as I'm not doing much else during the day. I did a few days outside but it's too cold and sometimes I don't feel like running at the normal times. I should go out everyday with the dog but sometimes it's just not feasible. I brought the treadmill downstairs and was doing well two weeks ago but twisted my ankle last week and stayed off the treadmill for like 9 days. My initial goal, like every year is to train for the marathon but we'll see what happens when it gets closer.
Chris was here as I asked him to come down so I could buy a freezer for downstairs. He wasn't going to spend the night but he decided to. He was sleeping, I wanted to get some exercise and went to run on the treadmill in the garage but decided against it after I had gotten in there. I had run on the treadmill a few days ago in the garage and started to get sick. I don't know if i was inhaling insulation or just from dust but I coudln't do it in there so I decided to bring it downstairs. It was a real bitch to do and I barely got it through the door from the garage to downstairs but I did. Chris woke up right as I was dragging it through the hallway downstairs. Pretty funny.
Christmas
I wasn't going to ask Mom for anything big for Christmas but decided to ask for a good pair of ice hockey skates. I really want to get into a league and with the baseball freezing over in the summer, I could really use a pair of skates that fit me. The old skates are just such a pain to put on. Plus they're like ten years old and although hockey companies want you to believe the technology of their products changes every year, there is definitely a difference in skates in a ten year period. I remember when I finally got those Tours after using the Bauers for all those years. I don't know what else I got, as I don't really remember asking for much else. Chris got me a pair of hockey pants.
Flu:
Jeremy was sick all last week and he didn't have the flu but it was close to it. He had pretty much every symptom one can have when they're sick. He got over it in about a week's time.
Hiking:
We finally went hiking on the trail after I had taken Jeremy to the doctor about his cough. I decided to stop off and try it out with him. The trail is quite steep. We all went back on the weekend and hiked about a mile. It's straight uphill. I bought myself a pair of hiking shoes from Walmart that worked pretty well. I've been wanting to go back there but haven't.
MTGO:
I started covering standard at the website for a few weeks and was publishing them every week. My writing has pretty much died down the last few weeks as school and other things have been more important.
I had a goal to qualify for MOCS and I did on the second to last day with 15 points. I came quite close a few times, missing top 8 of a few premier events with one match, game, and even an unlucky round. But I did qualify, got my promo Day of Judgment, and opened a Molten Tail Masticore in the end of season championship which made it worth it. I was playing A LOT of magic during that time, with tournaments more than once a day. It was too much magic and I haven't played as much since then, which was about November. I drafted the new set a bit when it came out but I haven't played much competitive standard, besides from a few 2 man queues. I started to try to collect a foil set of Scars, got pretty close and then stopped.
Games:
I got an offer in my mail for a free few day period of Eve and a reduced 2 month fee. I guess these offers do entice people to play because I started playing again. I wasn't able to get the 2 months for 20 as there was something wrong but a dev was able to give me 45 days for 15, which works out to the same. I've been having some fun in the game, spending a good deal of the isk I had. I learned more about the game and may stick with it long term. I've been looking at buying a new character and really wanted one that ended yesterday but I couldn't justify the 400 dollars, even if he did have 70 million SP. If I had known about the auction a few days earlier, I would've cleared out some of my MTGO account to raise the funds. With a character like that, you can play the game for free and probably make enough to actually make real money out of the game by selling Plex. I haven't joined a corp yet but I think I'm going to in the next few days. I've been having fun in the exploration area and I've decided to train into Covert Ops which seems interesting to me. It has practical PVP purposes but to zoom around low sec cloaked is pretty amusing. I would like to eventually get a PVPer or devote that guy to some kind of PVP. I do want an industrialist, whether it be a miner or a trader.
I bought Warcraft when it came out and have to say the expansion is pretty fun. I've been leveling the Druid, as Blackrock is such a bitch to get into at night. There's about a 3000 person waiting queue. Playing on a PVP server is much more fun and you always have to watch your back. I have the Druid at 85% to 84 and the lock is at 81. I really want a Goblin Rogue but I have to see if I'm even going to stick with this game. I should have really just leveled the lock so i could just run around pvp'ing people but I got some funny idea in my head about tanking. I told mom to buy me a game card and we'll see where we're at after that expires if she got it for me.
I bought Demon's Souls and beat it. Chris and I played together for a few hours one night and it was fun. There are a few things i want to back and do in that game such as beating the two optional bosses. I was thinking of playing it over again but I probably won't. I started Uncharted 2, hated it and then gave it more time and like it enough, even though I haven't played it in weeks. I might start Mass Effect 2 today but I don't know if the computer can handle it without crashing. I was running both Eve and Warcraft at the same time and the computer didn't slow down but then it just freezes randomly. I wish I could get this problem figured out.

Mack's scar was starting to get inflamed so I brought him to the vet. He got a shot which helped and has to go back for another checkup next week. They said if it keeps acting up, he's going to need surgery again. I hope it doesn't come down to that.
Been doing well on Magic the last few days. I hit top 8 on a 64 player draft and qualified for the M11 championship. 444 people in it, my chances to win are nill. It starts in half an hour. But it should be fun to play a few rounds and maybe I can open some money. I went 3-1 in a sealed swiss the other night, and then forgot i signed up for a draft because I was playing starcraft. By the time I got back into the draft, it was halfway done. I got pissed after I lost the first round to an Inferno Titan both games and decided to do a 4-3-2-2 and won it. Went 3-1 in a zen block constructed last weekend and 2-1 in TNMO the other night. I ended up with 8 points last season, pretty good. I played the tribal event a few times and then stopped. Think i'm going to start playing it again soon. Definitely going to start playing constructed tribal until it rotates out.
Was supposed to go mountain biking with chris two weeks ago. Went to mom's and he didn't feel like going. I didn't feel like going for a few minutes but then I wanted to go but didn't want to force him. Sitting around their house wasn't what I wanted to do all day. We ended up going to walmart to get our fishing licenses, hoping to go fishing after dinner. We did play tennis after that. My back was really starting to bother me and during tennis it started to get real bad. It was sore for days after that but has finally started getting better.
Dale and Shirley came up for a barbeque the day after. I cooked some burgers, steaks, dogs, sausage. They were here all day. It wasn't bad.
Asleigh came last weekend. Kenny and Cindy stayed here for a while. Didn't know if we were supposed to feed them dinner or not. Holly was good to me and I didn't have to do anything with the kids during the weekend. She took them to the mall to Build a Bear and to the fair. My back was still acting up at this point.
I bought a cheap weight bench and some weights and starting working. I don't know if that's what really helped my back but it's been better since. I drove to mom's yesterday to drop Jeremy off. He has been scheduled to go there for a few days but the timing hasn't been great. Chris asked me if I wanted to hang out on Friday so it worked out. I was a little cautious before doing all that driving but it didn't really bother me. I was hoping to get to mom's early so we could go early. We got to the trail at around 1. We do the small first section and Chris has a flat tire. I'm pretty pissed off at this point. There was no walmart in the area so we had to drive back to dickson city which was 30 mins away. We go to dick's, take care of the tire and go back. All the driving is making me tired. We do a small section and I notice my crank is loose. FUCK! Thankfully the crank lasts the trip although my bike feels like garbage. The shock needed air, the back tire falls off randomly and the whole thing does feel stable. I'd like to get a new bike during the offseason. We stop at Lindsor Inn for Wings and Pierogies. The food is great, go home and eat some of mom's pizza. I leave their house around 8, get back and just hang out.
Jeremy is staying a few days so Holly and I are going to go to the casino and out to dinner. She wanted to go the Pittston tomato festival. I wouldn't have minded if it was closer but that's a pretty far drive and I was in the car for like five hours yesterday.
We went to Jeremy's school orientation earlier in the week. His school seems alright, good enough for kids that age. I wasn't impressed but wasn't horrified. I have to start school next week :(.
Summer
Summer has gone fast. Jeremy is scheduled for AM kindergarten, which only lasts from 8:30-11:15. I was hoping to take some morning classes but that puts a damper in that.
Holly's vacation was pretty shitty. Mac swallowed a three pieces of that rubber bone and needed surgery. Cost us 1100 dollars. Holly was sick basically her whole vacation.
My hockey started off strong but ended really shitty. They waited too long to collect money so guys got their share of playing for a few weeks and then quit. We only had 2-3 people show up for the last few games and even when they combined our team with another team, there wasn't enough. I drove down there twice for games that were canceled and changed and it was upsetting. Such good potential. Holly has asked me to ref a few times and I might go this sunday for 50 dollars for three games. Decent money.
Dale and Shirley were supposed to come down on the weekend but didn't because Benny is getting sent of to jail. Yesterday.
Started writing magic articles and have had 4 published so far. They pay about 20 credits each which is decent. Haven't felt like writing them much lately but have two or three in the works. No one seems to really like my articles and they don't comment on them. I don't care, I just want the credits.
I was planning on playing in two M11 prereleases but only played in one. I opened a Primeval Titan! I quickly sold it for 50 tickets. I figured it wouldn't rise above that rate and right now it is about 55, which isn't too much of a difference. I expect it to drop a lot during the release events which begin tomorrow. The prize support is pretty shitty for prerelease events and I figured the Sun Titan's would be fairly cheap but they aren't as cheap as i thought it would be. I want to start playing in more constructed tournaments, which i haven't much lately. Going to play in a few M11 release events, hopefully qualify for the championship series but I doubt it. At least start playing standard or Zen block constructed. Probably would prefer standard. Want to play in at least one every day or other day, especially if i'm scoring prizes.
Bought Starcraft 2 last week. Got a 20 dollar coupon good at Kmart. They're starting to have some decent game deals. This week they had a buy a 20 dollar psn card, get 10 dollars coupon back. Didn't know whether or not I was going to buy it because it was sixty dollars and I bought a whole bunch of games during the steam summer sale but I decided to get it and I'm glad I did. I suck at it and still don't know how to play it well but I'm having fun with it. Beat MGS4 last night after playing for a few hours straight. The end of the game was pretty great. Got through a few stages through Bioshock 2, it's been pretty decent. Had a 10 dollar amazon coupon that was about to expire so I bought Assasin's Creed 2 for 25 less the coupon. Pretty decent deal.
Read 2010, 2061, and 3001 in the last few weeks. Also read "The Natural". Natural is chris's favorite. I thought it was alright, not the greatest. Rented a few financial books this week, one about Lehman brothers, don't know if i'm going to finish them. The puppet shows are over, Jeremy only missed one of them. I'm glad they're over, they were getting pretty crowded and the parents were pretty annoying.
Started watching that Louie show and it's been pretty funny, better than his other series. Started watching Dexter again, watched the third season and it as ok. Have nothing much to watch.
Went to see Inception the other night by myself because Holly saw it with Jess a few weeks ago. I liked it, best movie I've seen in a while. Been a pretty shitty summer movie season.
Went to the casino to see chris deal and to eat at the buffet. Chris fucked up as soon as he started dealing and he told us to leave. It was making me nervous watching him anyway. The buffet food was decent, not as many selections as Old Country. Their chienese was good, so was the pizza and stuffed shells. We got there at like 745 and the buffet closes at 8. Weird that it closes so early. I played blackjack for the first time. I tried to play at a 10 dollar table but they were all taken. I played for like half a shoe at a 15 dollar table. I set out to lose like 150 but the dealer busted a bunch of times and I walked away 95 dollars up. The broad next to me hit blackjack 2 times where I would've hit because I had a 10 as well. I liked playing and have the itch to play again. Dad played 20 dollars on roulette and was watching craps for about an hour but didn't play. I went back to the house for a little while to hang out with chris. He dealt me some blackjack on his table and we played with the iphone.

Haven't been playing the greatest at hockey but have picked my game up some in the last few weeks. Our schedule has been wacky. We had 2 games last week, 2 games tonight and two games on Saturday. We haven't played for a week and after Saturday we have a week off.
I sent the computer back and they replaced the motherboard. I told them to run games on it and they said they ran Left 4 Dead 2 for hours without a problem. I hope it works once it gets here. I bought Bad Company 2. Been playing Demon's Souls and been addicted to it a bit. I've put like 34 hours in and only beat six bosses. Game is difficult. I grinded up my guy to give him magic and it makes a world of difference. The game would be impossible without magic. Speaking of Magic, just bought some guys account at a decent discount. Been playing pretty well lately, after performing shitty in a swiss, I went on to win a 4-3-2-2 and I went 3-1 in a Zen Block Sealed. Sold off my ROE winning packs and am going to play another Zen Block to try to win the Jace lottery. I opened a Vengevine in a sealed ROE last week and went 2-0 my first two rounds (4-0 in games) and then hit a wall of shit luck but at least I got a few packs out of it.
Holly interviewed for a new job and although we didn't they would meet her money expectations, they did. She's going to take the new job. She'll be making more hourly but less weekly because she'll be working 36 hours. However, after health insurance there's a minor difference in pay. It'll be better because she'll be working 4 days a week instead of five. I know she's nervous to tell her job but she'll be alright.
Went mountain biking with Chris last Friday. We went to Lackawanna. After toying around with my front disc brake for hours, I just couldn't get it right. I got the back one adjusted fine. I think it may be because my front doesn't have a piece on it and I may need an attachment or I may not be able to run discs on the front at all. I def want to go to Carbondale and they opened Blue Mountain every weekend so i'm going to try it out hopefully in the next few weeks. Chris is coming here Saturday night and we're going to go kayaking on Sunday from Jim Thorpe to Perryville. Should be a decent little trip. Jeremy stayed at Mom's from Friday night until Monday. Holly and I went to Whitehall and I bought a Hookah. Wanted to go to the bike shop but they were closed.
Got wifi hooked up in the house and it's great. Having this laptop is also pretty great. Holly bought Jeremy a slip and slide and a new sprinkler and he's been having fun with them. I called about putting in our pool and there are just too many requirments so it looks like we aren't going to do it.
I'm going to attempt to write Magic articles for a website and they pay in credit to their online store. Pretty decent deal, was working on the first article today.

UPdate
Went to Cici's for dinner. Even though it's like fake jew pizza, we all enjoyed it. While the plain and pepperoni were eh, the specialty slices like white, spinach and others were good. Went to Sport's Authority to get sneakers and didn't find anything. I want running shoes that don't look homo. Stopped at Modell's and got those adidas Kanadia in 11. Happy we made the stop.
Got all A's in college. Have to register for next semester's classes.
Hockey league turned out decent. Got into fights a few times during the last few weeks. We went 4-6, lost the last game of the season to make the playoffs. I've been playing very poorly. My fitness is disgusting. Started the new hockey league and haven't been doing well at all. Bought a new composite stick that was adult size and way big and my stick handling was garbage. Put a blade in the bubble and still playing like garbage because now i have to get used to the small stick. Want to put a new butt cap in the bubble to make it bigger. The schedule of the new league looked good, with use playing 3 times a week for the next two weeks and then down to 2 times a week. However, they changed the whole thing up and an upcoming week we play no games on the weeknights and then two games in a row against the A teams. Pretty ridiculous. My enemy from the green team wound up on my team so it was awkward to say the least. Not to mention that my team is full of young kids and I'm playing like shit. They're doing open hockey on Sunday mornings and I might make an appearance in a few weeks when this hockey dies down.
Went out to Paolo's for my birthday. The food was excellent, portion sizes were great, all in all it was well worth it. Holly brought home a huge ice cream cake. She got me a couple of T-shirts, a new hockey bag, a shake figure from aqua team, and a giftcard to lids. Chris bought me my controller and mom and aunt mare gave me money. Went out to chinese buffet Friday after my birthday in Tobyhanna which was decent. The place looks exactly the same.
Dad lost 30 pounds or more and looks great. I'm nervous he's going to start eating badly again soon. I hope he keeps it off.
I got hooked on SSF4 but then haven't played it lately because I've been hooked on Demon's Souls. Game is great. Finally gave up on WOW after not playing arena. I actually transferred Rair to Blackrock and then was going to do a race change and canceled the game.
PC died two weeks into my new classes. We bought a laptop and sent the PC back. PC came back fixed but wouldn't run games. I wanted to wait until the end of the semester to get it all squared away and even though everything seems fine with the PC (runs stress test fine, which puts more stress on the system than games) but it freezes every time I try to run any game. It freezes even when I run that chess titans that comes with Windows. Ridiculous.
Went to the duck race last weekend. Didn't win. Flea market in the park was a bust. Holly came with me to hockey and we stopped at Sonic afterward. I was very impressed with my burger.
Been playing Magic, been playing fairly decent. Made a vampires deck for zen block constructed but haven't placed with it in the two events I entered. Might try something else. Considering making a standard deck but I just might play on magic league. Gotta see what I want to do and how much money I want to spend/how many cards I want to trade.
Mom got fired from her job. Chris finished his card dealing program and got hired for when they put the tables in. Hopefully I can get some mountain biking/yakking in with Chris done with classes and mom off all the time. I can probably drive up to their house early in the morning and drop off the baby for a few hours while we do things.

Friday
We decided to get Mack. Holly was saying no the whole time but there was something about him I really like. When she said no I didn't really listen to it and kind of pressured the situation. I think he's going to be a good fit for the family and we'll just put in the work we need. She stopped at Petsmart on the way home from work and picked up all the things we need for him. Came out to 300. They're bringing him tomorrow, Saturday night. Been cleaning up the house today. Cable guy came and fixed our line. Our electrical line has come down lower since we've moved, probably in the last few weeks and the cable guy said he could cut the branches for us for 50 bucks. I'm going to call PPL and have them come out first, if they don't do it for free, I'll call him and have him do it.
Started playing with the resto druid in 2s and we did really well, climbing from about 900 to 1300 in one night. Our weakness if warrior/holy pally teams but i think if can heal my pet through bladestorm and the warrior attacking him, we definitely have a chance. He wanted to play tonight when I logged on but I was only on for a few minutes before I got a haircut and took a shower. 3s has been pissing me off because we don't have the team together and we found someone with both a rogue and unholy but we haven't played with him. Played last week just for points.
Next week all my other classes start. Not looking forward to that. Have a test in economics early next week. Have to do some studying for it because the latest chapter has been a difficult one, especially with the formulas.
Mom and Dad are off next week and they're going to come to the house. They might take us out to dinner. I wouldn't mind going out. I'd wager we're going to order some chinese or something while they're here.
Playing in the Worldwake Prerelease and win first game of first round after being down 20-1. Second round, of course get mana screwed second game. Fucking asshole had two uncommons that he got out both games, making me discard 4/5 cards each game. Bitch. So cheap. There goes my hopes of going 4-0. Hope I can win the last two rounds and end up with 4 packs. I'm interested in seeing what the new standard decks are after they're played at San Diego.
Skipped my Yoga X today. I missed a few workouts last week (rest week) but started up the new rotation this week. Bought some new protein power and some bars at Walmart. I didn't love the taste of the old powder but i'm not too fond of the taste of this one.

Weekly Update
Got a foot of snow on Wednesday. Holly shoveled the sidewalk which did help me. I shoveled the driveway and wasn't sure if they were going to plow the dirt road but thankfully they did. Jeremy played with Nate and Jagr for a while which was good for him.
This week was a break week in p90x and i slacked off with it. I missed two or three days but I'm going to start back up again with the next week. Classes are coming up and i'm not looking forward to them.
We decided that we liked Booker and applied to adopt him. We went to see him on Saturday and he didn't turn out to be everything we expected. He's a lot of work and I honestly want him but getting him isn't the right decision for the family. We're going to keep looking.
Valentines day was nice. Holly got me a nice bracelet and a Where's Waldo book that's pretty neat. I got her flowers, a stuffed dog, candle, and this lotion.
Bonnie called me at five fifteen and asked if I could ref the first two games with Kenny. I did and did ok in the games. The second game I fucked up during one period and maybe called one that shouldn't have been called but I tried. Got to play offense and felt pretty good. I scored 3, fucked up on a penalty shot and got two penalties. The first penalty might have been legit but the second one was a bad call. I was backchecking hardcore and got called for a hook. I had his stick the whole time. Joe is on the team and I'm glad although it seems like I'm going to have to play defense again when Rob and Jay and whoever else comes back. The same ref that made the bad call on me called a shot of theirs a goal which didn't go in (although I didn't see it, I was going by Tye and Kenny who were on the floor.).
Been doing Ok with my drafts. Haven't won but I've often been winning 2/3 rounds. Played in a sealed tournament the other night and didn't win any packs. I thought my deck was weak but I finished 3-3. I played the tourny winner second round and that kind of fucked me. Some guy forgot to play a land his first turn in round three and he asked me to not do anything one turn but I didn't. He said "this is a gentleman's game" and then started to curse me out. I wasn't trying to be a gentleman. Got mana fucked 4th round and lost a game I think I could've taken. Oh well.
Found that high ranked hunter with a Shammy alt to run 2s with me and then saw a resto druid spamming trade and played with him. I don't know if the Shammy got pissed but he left the team. I thought the druid hated playing with me because we went on a cold streak at the end of the first night but we played tonight and went from like 900-1300. He's a good player and I think we can do well. Having trouble with Warrior/Holy pally because warrior kills my pet. Going to try to be better with pet positioning. Played 5s today and we sucked. Venom was on the team and some other guys. I think i'd rather play with the other 5s team and I might go back to them. Was supposed to play 3s tonight but I told Sur that I wouldn't make it. The rogue didn't show up again so we're replacing him. We found a good DK so hopefully we can start playing soon. Been grinding out WG on both alts and got the druid to like 650 resil. Tried to practice arena with him the other night and am going to see if Cereb wants to play with him and if not, i'll spam trade. Guild hasn't been running much because of lack of interest and a few people quitting the game.
Watnt to start this again
Haven't written in here in forever and I'd like to start again. Been a normal few months. Still receiving unemployment. Got a few extensions. Started back at college. Took 4 class- Business Law, Accounting 1, Principles of Management, and...it's funny that I can't even remember the other class even though it's only been a few weeks. Intro to Business Organization. I aced all the classes and did pretty well in them all during the semester. I had trouble in a few Management tests, which personally i think were rigged and aced all my business organization stuff except for the final which I got something like a 60 on. But I pulled out all A's. Accounting and Business Law were at college and the others were at the university. The teachers I had in person were good, especially teh accounting teacher and I would've liked to have continued with him, but his class was in Allentown and I didn't feel like driving there. I'm taking all online courses this semester. Micro and Macro Economics, Accounting 2, English 2 and Marketing. Two of the classes have started and the others are starting on the 22nd. I haven't had to do much work in them but when the others start, i'll be busting my ass for the last few weeks of the semester. Think I'm going to attend in the summer for at least one or two courses, especially if it determines my unemployment status.
Holly's parents came for Thanksgiving and we had a decent time. We watched some football and hung out after we ate.
I did get new glasses, two near pairs in fact.
We had a nice Christmas this year. Went to mom and dad's for Xmas Eve. Chris bought me a snowboard, which was supposed to be a surprise present but I found out about it. I bought him a hookah which he wanted (and I told him about 2 weeks prior) and we all smoked tobacco on Xmas eve, even Mom and Aunt Mare. When I bought him the hookah I pointed to the one I wanted and the woman gave me this nice carrying case but with a Hookah with apples and pears all over it. I got to the car to show Holly and we decided it was in my best interest to go back and exchange it for another one. I got some wheels, an expensive hockey visor (which I've only worn once and doesn't work that well with these glasses), a hippy/biker puppet, some t shirts, warcraft game card, Razer Naga Mouse, back massager, giant's winter hat and some other stuff I can't remember.
Holly was looking on Novica and I told her that she could buy a necklace and when I questioned her about why she didn't show it to me, she gave me my Valentines Day present. I had been suspecting that she had bought me a ring (not trying to guess it but because she had bragged "I got your present already"). She gave me the present and it was this nice men's bracelet. Poppy used to wear one and I really liked it, when I didn't htink i'd ever like anything from that site. S
My hockey team didn't do too well this season and I played particularily poor, especially because of my overall fitness and me being on defense. We only won two games all season but we had some close games, especially towards the end. I have formed a friendship with Jay and speak to him on the phone once in a while. Holly and I are supposed to get together with his wife but I don't know if that's going to happen with the dog coming into the family.
We decided to get a dog after putting it off and we are in the process of adopting a puppy we saw online. Holly had watched some sad movie about dogs last week that made her think of Rambo and I told her that we should just get one. Jeremy has wanted one and I think it'll be good for the family overall. I'm even kind of excited to get him, which I didn't think would happen. She was worried about what her dad would think but fuck him. We could take Winnona but that would hurt her mom. I'd rather start fresh with a new dog anyway. It's a Bull Terrier/Pitbull mix. We've filled out the application today and are waiting to hear back from them later this week. They have to make a home visit but we'll see what happens with it.
Been trying to enroll Jeremy in a daycare/preschool but all of the places in town are booked. I'm going to call around for neighboring towns like Leighton, even though I didn't feel like making that drive.
I bought a playstation 3 after Chris bought one. We played Resident Evil until the end and haven't finished the last few bosses. The game was fun. I got COD2 when it came out and amazon sent me two copies. I've been playing warcraft way too much. I haven't enjoyed raiding in months and stopped and then started up a bit with ICC and the end of the arena season. Started getting into arena big time and am now obsessed with it. I played with Cereb at the beginning of last season. Our classes just didn't go together. Then I started playing with a Holy pally that I almost got the killing streak achievement. We did really well, like 15-4 and then he disapeared the next week. Played with a resto shammy that was a dick even though we went like 12-3. We had a half an hour game against DK/Druid and then he quit. Tried playing with another holy pally but he was fucking annoying and I didn't play particularily well at that point. Started with a rogue and we got the 'killing streak' achievement but that was at the end of the season. In 3s we were doing pretty well but the rogue shitted out on us for the last like 3 weeks of the season and we only got to 1540 before ending at 1510. We played a few games with him at the beginning of the season and then he left. We found a new rogue who is good (and a crazy crackhead) and I change to afflic and we did well. Hopefully we can get the games in with this guy because we scheduled with him twice and he didn't make it. Leveled my mage and Druid up and geared the druid feral but I suck at it. Have enough Soul Keepers shards to get a lot of resto pieces so I'm going to do that and try resto. Gearing up the mage and having jeremy grind bgs, as well as afking some of them. Spoke to a resto druid about 2s today, hopefully I can play with him tomorrow.
I started the P90x program three weeks ago. It's been difficult, especially in the beginning but I've seen some results as much as I hate working out almost every day. I'm on my rest week this week so it'll be a change of pace with cardio and yoga. Again the nutrition is going to be my problem and I must figure out to get more fat and protein so I can put on some bulk in the next phases of the program.
Watched some of the superbowl the other night but really wasn't into it much. Rangers have been a total bore the last few months and I watched them beat Jersey the other night. They got rid of Higgins and Kotalik after they weren't performing for Yokinen. We'll see what happens with them.
Chris treated us for a game and we went in September. We went to work with dad and slept in the car, went to the dinner and wasted time until it was time to leave for the city. Went to the jew deli and ESPN zone. Had a good time at ESPN zone because it was a weekday. Rangers won the game and we had a great time.
Have only been snowboarding once. Been trying to get chris to go but he bails on me everytime. I hate to go alone but I'm going to have to. We have a lot of snow incoming and I want to try to get there. The mountain is decent, not as big as they advertise and smaller than Camelback but it's decent for being 10 mins away.
We got 4 inches of snow over the weekend. The snow wasn't good for making snowmen but Jeremy and I did anyway , adding water to it. We had fun doing it.
We had a clog in the pipe to the sewer and Dale came to help. We got a lot of hair from the drains and pushed whatever the clog was into the main sewer line. The water would go down slow since we lived here and that clog was just building. Everything has been working pretty well.
Started playing magic online out of the blue and have been having fun with it. I sold some cards right before I stopped playing so I had a stockpile of tickets. I played a bunch of drafts and did ok in most of them. I've been averaging 2 packs a swiss, with a tourney win the other night and at least 2 results with just one pack. I haven't gotten any money rares except one which has been disapointing. The new set releases to magic online next week so it'll be fun to do the premier events with it. I've been waiting to do a premier but I was trying to get into a late night one so the possibility of 33 players instead of 64 could help my odds.
