Job, Christmas, Warcraft

They got rid of our incentive checks and our raises and all supervisors took a 5% pay cut. I'm disgusted because if it was only a few weeks later I would've received my raise. I was looking forward to the raise (with the cost of living a few weeks later it would've been 1.5 raise) because it's substantial. But now we get nothing. Work had been pretty slow before and I took a few early outs and a few days off.

On Tuesday before Christmas break almost the whole place left early. Only the city had work and we had plenty of it. I was trying to get out of there before the ice storm hit but of course I couldn't. The highways were covered and slick but I took my time the whole way there. I was going 40 but then slowed when I passed 3 or 4 cars that had slid off the road and were stuck in the snow/ice mix.

Christmas Eve I was supposed to meet Chris so he could take me to Mom's (Holly was coming directly from work) but we forgot the car seat in the other car. It was a miserable rainy day (w/ chance of ice) but thankfully it was warm enough Chris picked me up. I gave him the Xbox for his Winter Break. Mom's cooking came out excellent. We just hung out there the whole night, watching Gremlins and playing games. We all opened our presents from mom. She got me:

Giants T-Shirt
Giants NFC Champion Sweatshirt (returned)
Giants NFC Champion T-Shirt (returned) for Rangers Shirt
Under Armour (returned, too small)
Hockey T-Shirt
Rangers Goalie Mask
1600 Microsoft Point Card
Rock Band 2
Motion Light for House
Cookware Set
Naked Lunch Criterion Collection

Jeremy slept on the way home so he went right to bed. Holly was tired from a long day and she went to bed early. I stayed up and played Warcraft until 7. Jeremy woke up at 9:30. We opened presents. I didn't get Holly anything good (I didn't know what to get her). She got me:

Master Chief Sweatshirt
Master Chief Figure
Master Chief X Mas Ornament
Star Wars Mugs (For Jeremy and I)
Boba Fett Mug
Star Wars Encyclopedia (Going to Return)
Gummi Life Savers
Blistex
Desktop Magnetic Toy
R2D2 Mr Potato Head (Going to give to Jeremy)
JLA Boxers (Jeremy)

After we opened presents Holly set up a lot of his toys. I struggled to set up Spiderman 3 Sandman Playset but w/ lack of sleep and shitty directions, I got fed up and went to sleep.

Shirley actually came to visit with Dale a few weekends ago. They brought Winona and stayed a few hours. Jeremy was happy to see them but he acted like a jerk the whole time and the rest of the night.

Started playing Warcraft. Addicted. I tried to get Chris into it and he did play with me for a few hours before giving up. I was hoping to recruit him for the recruit a friend so we could play together and I could get a month free plus triple xp but he's done w/ the game. It's too much money. I've leveled my Warlock to 24 and a Druid to 12. I'm not really liking the Druid but I do like the Warlock. Got stuck at level 21 for a while until I found some guys to help me w/ the Orc quests. Some very helpful guy in game gave me 25 gold and helped me do higher level quests which really helps at the low levels. I also grouped w/ some idiots. All the luck of the draw. Hoping to start some dungeons soon. The game is damn addictive but I think I'll cut down on it a bit when I get my Xbox back.

I played hockey for the first time in months. I'm in terrible shape. I couldn't skate for my life. Felt like I was going to pass out the whole time I was there. Didn't help that our team only had 6 guys on it. Hockey was my after Christmas getting fat wake up call. I cleaned out the garage and started jumping rope. Bought an extension cord so I can start running on the treadmill. Not going to go too hardcore, just enough to lose a few pounds and lose the back fat/side rolls. Cutting soda out of the diet for the most part.

Broke two keys at work last night.

Curiousity is piqued and i'm getting the urge again. With Christmas and lists being made and finalized, Warcraft is as easy as sending an e mail. Going to do 10 day trial soon. Getting the Battle Chest and 2 month membership should be no big deal. Getting one afterwards is a big deal. After Christmas, five unopened, unplayed games to play. Plus the time commitment of games that are still here. I should be satisfied with games for time the come. Maybe I'll play private servers if I really get desperate to show it isn't worth it. Because there's no way 15 a month is worth it unless that's the only game you're interested in. Currently playing Mass Effect, Gears of War 2 Insane (so i can sell it while resale value is still good) and Prey. Prey is almost genius with elements of Portal and the respawning isn't as bad as first thought. Provides a flow to the game. Getting the itch for Magic as well. Learning the metagame and new cards is what takes time. Still have 100 or more tickets in the account. Might play a league. Or maybe just wait for new expansion. February is new set. Maybe play on Workstation. Watched a guy on JustinTV working on a game. Unreal Engine. Interested me but there is much to learn about computer art programs to do anything that complicated.

Work has been boring. Took early outs on Thursday and Friday (only 1 hour each). Paycheck is going to look like shit. Supposed to get ice on Tuesday. Going to take off if there's the possibility of it.

Holly put up the Christmas tree on Saturday. We ordered a half pineapple Pine from Palmerton Pizza. It was decent. Wanted to watch a movie with her but the dish went out because of De La Hoya fight. We hung out, made love on couch and both passed out on couch. I came downstairs and wasted the rest of the night away. On Sunday watched half of Giants. About to go down 13 nothing at the half they block a field goal, return it for a touchdown with no time on the clock. Thought they could get some momentum from that but they didn't recover and lost. Could've clinched division today. Feed got shut off and I got busy making Xmas list for mom. Everyone else in division lost (NICE!). Holly and I ran to IGA to get lunch meat among other things. Bought US Gold Menthol and they suck. Should've paid extra dollar and gotten Salems. Watched half Ranger game but got headache from it. They were playing well and Calgary didn't have any shots for 15 mins but when they scored I gave up on it. They ended up losing 3-0. Watched Curb your Enthusiasm with Holly and she went to bed. Worked on my book for a while and then took shower.

Been addicted to Madmen. Watch an episode a day. I mistakenly watched Season 2 ep 10 instead of 1 and didn't notice. Was wondering why all plot twists were off. Interesting to watch like that though. Started listening to Big Sur by Kerouac. I never liked the writing in 'On the Road' or 'Dharma Bums' (the ideas MAYBE) but Big Sur actually seems decently written. Can't listen to radio in car much anymore. Annoys me more than anything. Even when I went to pick up Jeremy last weekend I couldn't stand music channels and listened to BBC news.

Short week at work for Thanksgiving. I got a half an hour overtime one night and an forty five mins on Wednesday. I was considering staying longer on Wednesday but didn't feel like it after I got paired with that weird guy in a Sony truck. Fucking guy didn't help and then left promptly at 3:30. I got stuck doing the rest. Pulled my side a bit doing that or carrying 6 Olympia Chimneys .

Thanksgiving turned out very nice. Holly prepared a lot of the food the night before. Dinner was excellent. It took Jeremy hours to eat. We hung out the rest of the night. Mom decided she didn't feel like driving and somehow Chris was suckered into picking up Jeremy and I. Holly came to the house later on to pick me up. Mom watched the baby for us the rest of the weekend. It was nice to have time to ourselves. Holly had to take her dad to Merle's on Saturday and she didn't get home until 8. We ran to the local supermarket and came home and ate together. Hung out the rest of the night. I met Chris on Sunday afternoon after the Giants/Rangers. Giant's won again and Rangers played like shit. The weather was miserable with rain here and snow/rain/ice mix up in the Poconos. Long Pong was shit and couldn't tell if it was icy or wet. Took my time. Got home and hung out the rest of the night.

Monday night took the new car and almost hit a bear. It was raining in Palmerton and it rained earlier in Poconos and then snowed which made for icy conditions again on Long Pond. Got out of work early on Wednesday and 15 mins early on Tuesday. The city was dead and I felt oddly enthusiastic to work on book and to get out of work.

Beat Gears of War 2. End boss was ridiculously easy. Beat him first try. Most pathetic boss along with Halo 3. Tried to give online mode a chance and hate it. I started to play game on Insane and will probably slowly complete it. Started playing Mass Effect. Trying to get into the groove of it. Don't feel like reading so much dialogue. Ordered Orange Box, Bioshock for 20 and Fallout 3 for 40 on Black Friday. Ordered Endwar 24 shipped from Asia. Couldn't pass it up for that kind of money. Now have a big back log of games but at least won't be bored. Was considering getting PS3 w/ 150 off credit card offer. Can't justify it though. Have to get my ass w/ xmas presents.

Colder than average week. Mom went for mamogram and they found something in her breast so she had to go for more tests. Thankfully the other tests came back negative. Was late to work on Thursday because a truck flipped on Toll Road. I half jokingly asked Ed if I could have off on Friday and he said to call him during the afternoon to check with him. I thought about it and decided to take the day and he granted it for me. Holly and I dropped Jeremy off at her parent's and came home. She fell asleep early and I just stayed up the rest of the night playing games. On Saturday we went to get the car. We weren't sure what we wanted and were looking at a few different cars on Singh and Colonial. Decided to go to Singh. We tested out a Mazda truck and Kia Optima. Holly liked the truck until we rode in the Optima. I thought the Optima was the better out of the two because the truck also didn't have 4x4. Couldn't take the car home because the banks were closed by the time we decided we wanted it. Went to Burger King to eat, then hit a bad patch of rain and wind. Went to Unclaimed Freight to look for a chest of drawers to wait out the bad weather. Only saw one that matched the room but I wasn't particularly fond of it. Holly found a lamp she liked (but I didn't like) and we looked at some paintings. Went to Holly's to pick up Jeremy and then came home. Put Jeremy to sleep in his own bed for the first time. He was bad and screamed for hours. He finally fell asleep. I watched the Coulture/Lesner Fight and one other one and then we watched 'The Happening'. It was Ok. Hung out all day Sunday watching the Giants.

Dale took me to pick up the car on Monday. Cold all week. Haven't driven the new car to work yet. They layed off most of the part timers at work. I got called in the office because of a handling error and ended up arguing because I didn't mess it up at all. It got messed up after the next center handled it. I told Ed about a broken column outside one of the doors and got called in the office again because he was looking at the tape and I jumped off the forklift without the parking brake and the lift rolled into the lift by itself. Try to be a nice guy and help out so no one gets hurt and I fuck myself. Another relaxing weekend. Had big plans to clean the house for Mom and Aunt Mare. Didn't get much done. Went shopping at Walmart and got all essentials: Boots, Gloves, Jumpsuit, Space Heater. Space Heater works like shit. Semi decided on 42" Vizio TV. Liked the picture the most out of the choices at Walmart. Don't know when we're getting it. Holly and I started cleaning the back room. I displayed all my figures. She started going through boxes. I still have to go through comic and collectibles and put them in the attic or closet. Sunday watched Giants game (Beat Cardinals) and watched Hulk. I liked it. Holly made me French Onion Soup for dinner. Very tasty.

Haven't worked on the book. I've had the time, especially time without Jeremy but I haven't had ambition. I have to start though. Been addicted to the video games. Picked up Guitar Hero and beat it on Hard. Tried to get some achievements. Trying to 5 star all songs on hard. Working on it. Beat Gears 2 and beat Horde Mode. Horde mode is fun with others but also fun and challenging alone. I like the game. Going to beat it on Insane soon. Trying to play online because I suck at it and want to see if I like the structure. I wasn't fond of it in Gears 1 but there are more modes here. I'll give it a chance. I might start Mass Effect. Want to get the new Lennon book from the library. Chris bought Artie's book so I'll get to read that next week. Mom and Aunt Mare were supposed to come here on Black Friday but they changed it to Saturday so Dad could come and do stuff around here and Chris would come. Spoke to Mom tonight and she didn't sound like she wanted to come at all. It is a hassle but I don't feel like driving there next Saturday. Haven't played hockey in 3 weeks. Haven't really felt like it by the time Sunday came. The carpooling mostly forced me into going some weeks and when I got there I felt like playing. But with the money issues and shitty league/team and hardly any play time, all I want to do on Sunday is watch movies with Holly and relax. Short week this week and am really looking forward to it.

Going to get Jeremy into daycare next week for at least one day a week. Holly made a homework chart for him to do EVERYDAY to try to get his attention under control a bit.

End of weekend

Started listening to audio books in the car on the way to work. The old FM transmitter I bought for Chris is starting to die so i'm going to have to use the one i bought. I listened to Junky by Burroughs and it took just over two days. It was unseasonably warm at work all week; a welcome surprise after the cold we were having. I crashed my forklift into a pole at work and now it shakes a bit when I drive. I had World at War all over my trailer from a display. John was supposed to bring me Soul Calibur but he took early outs/company convenience all week. Hopefully he brings it on Monday if he's there. Kevin told Steve to put his parking brake on the forklift and Steve started flipping out at him. Saturday we went to Big Lots so Holly could get discounted Halloween decorations, PayLess so she could get a pair of shoes. Circuit City for Gears of War 2 (sold out) and then I got it at Toys R Us. Went to Old Country again. There was a line out front and I didn't really feel like waiting especially with Jeremy but we did because I was in the mood for the food. It took about 30 mins to get seated. Jeremy was a pain in line and he even hit the guy in back of us. The food was Ok. I got in there and I wasn't really in the mood for it when I started eating. We came home and I watched the end of the Rangers game (loss to Washington), played Gears for a few mins and then tried to put Jeremy in bed by himself but he flipped out and cried for hours. Holly went to bed w/ him and then we watched the Happening. I watched the new South Park and then played GOW before going to bed.

Sunday we hung out the whole day. We were supposed to go to Walmart but I didn't' feel like going out. I had the early game at hockey and while I wanted to play, i didn't feel like driving and arguing about money to Bonnie. So we stayed home and I played Gears. Jeremy was bad and was put in his room for an hour. He cried the whole time. His behavior is out of hand. Took him almost six hours to eat one slice of frozen pizza.

I haven't played Halo in a few days. Got acquainted with Gears of War to get ready for the sequel. Played a few mins of Prey and realize that it was pretty bad and it doesn't hold up. The new Gears is pretty nice all in all. Haven't tried it online yet but played a bit of Horde and played some of the campaign. I read some bad things about online matchmaking. Hoping to get online tonight. I don't want to play with Justin and Sal.

Snow already, Mini Halloween Vacation, Halo Addiction

On Monday the snow started and Tuesday it continued. The Poconos got over a foot and we didn't get anything here except for rain. I took the turnpike home from work after food shopping on Monday night and home from work on Tuesday night. I took the backroads on Tuesday. Long Pond was a disgusting mess with snow drifts and snow covered, icy conditions.

I had off on Wednesday (Palmerton Trick or Treating) and Friday (Halloween). Palmerton Trick or Treating was fun. We were out the full two hours. It was a brisk night. Everyone in the neighborhood was pretty hospitable. Some people had nifty decorations up. I could see Holly studying it and getting ideas for next year. We officially met the neighbors next door with the kids. The people on the other side gave us a welcome to the neighborhood gift. Made sure Holly could remember their names because I had no clue what their names were at all. Jeremy got a good amount of candy. Came home and watched the World Series and some hockey and hung out the rest of the night. We were supposed to go to the mall to trick or treat on Friday but we wound up going to Toys R Us so he could spend his birthday gift card from Aunt Mare. We went to Circuit City afterwards and then to Loews to get the washer and dryer. Came out to the mid 900's and we get a 65 rebate. Then had dinner at Old Country Buffet where i gouged until i was almost sick. Weekend was quiet and we just hung out most of it.

Hockey hasn't been to my liking. I scored 3 or 4 goals the other week but I didn't play well. They were all weak, lucky goals. Last week I ended up playing defense and scored once. Our team's offense was pitiful and I couldn't get anything going. Our O is slow and don't pass well. We had 6 guys on the bench while the team we played only had 3. Then the next two teams only had 1 and 3 subs. I don't know if i'm going to play this upcoming week because of the hassle with money. We'll see what happens. It's easy to say i'm not playing but then sunday comes and even though it's a pain in the ass to drive down there, it's worse when Sunday night rolls around and you haven't played. The only upside to not playing is the Giants/Eagles game. But then again we also have a 630 game so i wouldn't miss much of the football.

Work has been the same as always. Been very bored there. Yesterday, I asked Ed if I could listen to my MP3 while working and he said "I don't see nothing, i don't know nothing" Just the response I thought he'd give. Got two hours overtime last week for the first time in a few weeks. I didn't stay for voluntary once or twice the last few weeks. Too cold.

This week has been surprisingly warm at work. A welcome surprise after the last few weeks. I didn't do overtime Monday night because I had to go food shopping and the washer and dryer were supposed to come in the morning. They never called to confirm and then Jeremy and I both slept through their arrival here at 8:45. I called to reschedule and they're coming on Thursday, hopefully in the afternoon.

Since the World at War Beta and hooking up the xbox downstairs, I've acquired a Halo 3 addiction. It came out of nowhere. I've been playing non stop. I even bought the new map pack. I was trying to play during the day when Jeremy is downstairs but his insistent questioning messing up my gaming. This is throwing me off my game and may break my addiction.

Bioshock finally went down to 30 on Amazon. I'm going to making a purchase soon with some of the games I didn't get last X-mas. I don't want to wait because if I do they may get the price increases. Waited too long on Rainbow Six and Virtual Fighter and they've gone up 10 each. John agreed to sell me Soul Caliber for 20 which I hope to get this week. I'm planning on getting Gears of War 2 because it comes with the free 1600 point card (which only makes it 40 dollars). That Vigilante 8 game is coming out for the Live arcade and want to get that. Still debating the other big releases like COD. Getting Fallout and maybe Endwar for Xmas. Too many games, too little time, too difficult to play while watching the kid all day.

Weekend without Jeremy

The rest of our week went as it normally does. I didn't really do the ABC's with Jeremy as much as I wanted. Hopefully that'll change next week. Dad came over on Thursday to run the satellite line into the house. The satellite has been working well for the last few weeks. I wanted him to run the high speed wire from the comp room to the living room but the wire was too short. I got an invite for the COD Beta. I just signed up for callofduty.com last Sunday and got the invite a few days later. I wanted to try it so I put Jeremy's TV downstairs. It's decent for all the right reasons but it feels old. I want to get Farcry 2 because of the map making. I hope they have an upgrade system. I met Dad at work and he took Jeremy home on Friday. Jeremy and Dad walked into Fedex with me. I thought he would've been excited but he wasn't too impressed by it. Been getting cold at work. I was asked if I wanted voluntary OT at work on Friday and I told him no. He'll probably start coping an attitude with me. I don't want to do it when it's cold outside. Jess came here and they went to the Waldorf hotel. Holly said it was awesome. Holly was waiting for me when I got home. We talked a bit and then went to bed. Saturday we just relaxed. Went to Arby's for dinner and bought our TV stand and another DVD holder. Came home and I watched the hockey game. Rangers played well and should've won the game. They got shitty calls against them, especially the too many men on the ice which led to Detroit tying and eventually winning in OT. Holly and I were all set to watch Love Guru and we tried for a few minutes but it was terrible. We watched 'Walk Hard' instead. It was actually funny and well written. We made love and then hung out downstairs a bit. I beat GTA and played a while longer to get some achievments. I still want to unlock some of the stuff in the game but I may start playing Mass Effect. Sunday we both woke up at 2. I watched half the Giant's game and hung around until hockey. Hockey sucked. There were 40 guys there and they split it into four teams. We didn't play consectively. Instaed we played 20 and got off and played 20 and got off. I scored one goal in the first game and had two assists in the third. I made some bad passes to Chris but made some alright passes otherwise. I was falling all over the place because I was skating hard. I hurt my knee and bit and hope it feels ok tomorrow. Walking doesn't seem to bother it but standing straight up does. Jerey wasn't so great at hockey. He goes crazy when Dustin is around. We got some BK on the way home.

Holly went for her tests this week. They said she looked good during the stress test.

Holly back to work

Jeremy and I had a good day together. He was pretty good doing the ABC's. I limited the time we were doing it so he wouldn't get bored. I'm going to do it everyday in just ten to twenty minute intervals. We went outside and played some T-ball and Basketball. We came in and put together his parking garage. The design was easy but snapping the pieces into place and putting all the stickers on it was a pain. At least it's done. Made a quick meal of spaghetti since it was Holly's first day back and I didn't know how her stomach would be. She had a good day and I'm relieved. She even ate lunch with other people. Played a little GTA before work. Work was slow. I was sore from hockey. Had to recoup two skids on a deck. I don't think the second skid was shrink wrapped at all. It was OWB too. Went food shopping afterwards. Bought an FM transmitter and more RCA cables. Have to buy a surge protector for the living room. Want to get the entertainment center sometime soon.

Best Weekend in Months

It was a beautiful weekend, most likely the last one for the year. We just hung around most of Saturday. We took a walk to IGA and bought a few odds and ends. Came home and I tried to watch the Ranger game online and there was a problem with the feed. They scored three goals quickly and I caught another feed to see the 4th. The rest of the game was torture as they gave up three goals (1 was goalie interference) but they ended up pulling it off. Holly and I watched Casino Royale which I wanted to see for a long time. Liked it. It was a relaxing Saturday. Sunday we got up and went to Beltsville Park. We had a mini picnic and then went fishing. I was surprised to get a bite and wasn't ready for it. Jeremy actually stood there and fished for the 30 mins or so we were fishing. If I put a worm on there he'll be reeling it in every second. We went for a mini walk across the park afterwards but couldn't find the hiking trails. There were no maps to be found. Finally found a map as we were leaving. Came home, rushed to eat, Holly showered and we went to hockey. Tim told us to be there at 7 but it didn't start until 730. There were a lot of different faces. We ended up having 9 a side. Any more than that and people will start bitching about making three teams and having 3 teams is a waste. It was the fastest, best hockey I've played in a long time. Everyone seemed to be playing hard. It definitely didn't like Big Wheel and if the league was like this a few weeks ago, I would've made it a priority to get there sooner. I had a great game with at least 4 goals and 4 assists. I botched two breakaways and had some bad shots which bother me just a bit. Got home and took a bath. The water smelled stagnant when I emptied the tub. Watched a few South Park episodes and played GTA the rest of the night. Trying to finish the game and I should be close. want to get the main storyline out of the mix so I can try to get some achievements and just run amok in the city.

Running around again...

Monday we didn't have any running around to do so we got to stay home and relax. On Tuesday we had to meet with the mortgage woman and sign a lot of paperwork and then meet with Paulette to go over the details of the inspection. The closing costs came out to be 3500 more than we expected. We were constantly told that they would be about 6% of the house price. I have to call her to go over the details. We brought Jeremy with us and he was being a pain in the mortgage place but luckily she had a lot of toys in there. We were bouncing silly putty balls and he was colouring. After that we decided to go look at furniture at Country Junction (earlier in the day AJ and Jack told me they had an Ashley's furniture there). All they had were closeouts and they were all scratched and busted and there weren't many good deals to be had. On Wednesday we had to take Jeremy to the dentist. I wasn't originally going to go but decided to spend the extra time with them. When they came to get him, he was hiding under the chair and we had to pull him out. He threw a little fit but then he was good the rest of the time. Afterwards we went to eat at the mall. He ate almost a whole slice of pizza. I stopped in the clothes store to buy an outfit to go golfing in. Thursday morning Joe hooked me up. Thursday morning after work I went to my parents because Tim and I had made arrangements to hit some golf balls. He called me at about 230 and we left and hit three buckets of balls before going home. I kept topping out on them. Tim gave me his driver, which he said he never uses. I'd like to go back again and maybe even play a few holes. He's on vacation next week though. Friday morning at 830, Holly called me at work to tell me that Jeremy's eyes were swollen shut and to get home. I left and came home and we made a doctor's appointment. After waiting an hour, the doctor finally saw him and told us it was an allergic reaction to environment (as opposed to food). We stopped to get Benadryl on the way home. I slept a good eight hours that night, the first real good sleep I'd gotten for the week. On Saturday morning we went to get our mattress. Holly followed me to Daleville and then we took the van to Dickson City. I started flipping out because it was raining and made Holly cry. We made up and went to lunch at Old Country. Surprisingly, Jeremy even ate a hotdog and fries and spaghetti. We went to Sleepy's and bought the mattress. The guy tying it on the car kept telling me how good he was at tying. I gave him a 5 tip and off we went. I was nervous driving and kept my 4 ways on the whole time. I kept the speed at 45. It was windy and rainy and most of the interstate was 1 lane construction zone. We got to Daleville and Jeremy started saying that he saw the mattress out of the side window. I stopped and checked it out and the tie job was coming undone. The box spring was sliding all over the place. We got to meet spot which luckily had an Ace Hardware. We stopped in to get rope and I tied it down and I left. I stopped a few times on the way home to check it out but it didn't move at all after I tied it. Dad came home and we unloaded the mattress and put it upstairs. I watched a little of Rambo before going to sleep for 3 hours. Woke up and Tim called me. He came over and we drank and then hung out. I don't think I drank enough because I was just relaxed but not really fucked. All 3 of us played Smash and then I played GTA 4. He left soon after and I fooled around with GTA and on the computer before going to bed. It was my turn to drive but I asked if Ryan could drive and Tim did. I played fairly decent at hockey. All my passes to Tim seemed to be shit but the passes to others were better. I scored a few times and had a few assists. Came home and hung out. Played GTA for a long time and watched the rest of Rambo. We came home a bit earlier but unfortunately Jeremy woke up. Holly and I made love and went to sleep. She started work today and I hope to hear from her on her lunch. Hopefully she's having a good day.

Busy Week

Tuesday I went with Ryan to go look at guns. I told the kid I would buy him lunch because he was the one that was driving down there but when I met him at Wawa he was eating a meatball sandwich. He eats like a slob, stuffing his face real quick. We went and looked at the guns. I was set on getting something with a clip but the guy at the store told me to get something with in a revolver because it's too difficult for a woman to pull back a clip. After we looked the guns we went back to his house to fire off his gun. We walked all the way through the woods to get to his spot. It was really shrubby and he had to walk directly through shrubs and we got soaked because it rained earlier that day. We got there and he realized he forgot the ear plugs. We each fired off one shot (killed my ears) and then went back to the house. We went back to the spot and each fired off a clip before going back to the house. He showed me Metal Gear 4 and I wasn't too impressed with it, probably because it was a shitty level. On Wednesday Holly had to go sign papers at Paulette's and we had to drop off papers to the mortgage place. We took Jeremy to Mcdonalds on the way home. On Friday I had to go to the inspection. It turned out OK but there were some problems that we need to get fixed and other small things we'll have to fix ourselves. We're going to meet with Paulette tomorrow and we'll see what happens with it.

We ran around on Saturday after I got home from work. We planned on going to Nationwide Warehouse but when we got there they were out of business. We were both pretty pissed off. I stopped at Harbor Freight to get dad a grinder and then we went to lunch. We went to Uno's and everyone really liked the food there. Jeremy got a mini pizza and he enjoyed it. Holly got barbecue salmon and I got a chicken dish. Afterwards we stopped at Sleepy's who is having a discount mattress sale and we decided to get back there in the next few days to get a mattress. We walked into Pier 1 and walked right out. Stopped at Dick's to pick up some hockey sticks. Then went to Raymour and Flannigan and found a set we liked. We're going to hold off until we looked closer to our house at Unclaimed Freight. I went back to my house and looked for the stuff Chris got me and couldn't find it. I ripped apart his room and finally found it in the garbage at 11. I hung out and played games on Saturday night and fell asleep on the couch at 12. Woke up and went to hockey and had a decent game. Scored a few goals and had a few assists. Tim doesn't pass at all and he was complaining about playing shitty. We stopped at Pocono Farms golf course to see Danielle's father and then went home. I played GTA and Guitar Hero when I got home and then cleaned out my desk at the house. Chris and I then played some Smash and Smashed against his friends. I got my ass handed to me but am now in the mood to start playing the game.

Accepted our offer

Actually got out of work before 10 on Saturday morning. Ended up with about 4 hours overtime for the week. Paulette called on Saturday morning to tell us they rejected our bid. She was pissed on the phone because they made all these demands (credit scores, 8k down, 10 day inspection instead of 15). They were really being dicks about it and I don't want to meet with these fucks during closing. Went home Saturday afternoon and slept through a thunderstorm. That's about 4 in the last week. Woke up and ate dinner and hung out and played games the rest of the night. Chris tried to get Battlefield to work but he couldn't get it. I fell asleep in his bed again and he slept on the floor. Awww, what a sweetie. My turn to drive to hockey on Saturday. I didn't really feel like playing when I woke up. Simon played this week. It's the first time i've seen the guy play in years. He's professional good, Bobby level. He was on our team. I thought I played well and had a bunch of assists. Hit the post twice and had one of my shots stop right on the line, which someone else put it. Another shot hit off the goalie and bounced right on top of the net. I felt on in my game with the defense and moves and everything. My stick is done and I need to get a new one. Mom is going to get me two sticks for father's day. Chris is supposed to go to Scranton tomorrow to get me them. I was missing a strap on my shinguard and I fell right on that knee and got a floor burn. After hockey I took Jeremy to play with the kids. Tim had a inflatable jumper and Jeremy was scared to go in at first but then he started having a ball with it. They played T ball for a little while before we left. Hung out the rest of the night. Holly got me a Cowboy Bebop T-shirt for father's day. It's nice and I'm happy with it.

Paulette called this morning to tell us that they accepted our offer at 186. I'm happy but I still can't help feeling we could've gotten the house cheaper. I wonder what it's going to appraise at. I ran down there right after she called and had to sign papers. I brought Jeremy with me and he was good, playing with two balloons they gave him and an abomination happy meal toy. I want to get the figures from the movie. I asked Jeremy if I could have Abomination and he called me "silly". I came home and took him swimming. It wasn't really hot out when we left but the sun came out while we were there and warmed things up. The pool was empty. Jeremy didn't want to go in the pool and I tried to force him but he kept screaming. He dipped his feet in and made wet footprints most of the time. Out of the blue he asked me to go in the big pool and we did for a minute before he wanted to get out. We played on the playground for a little while before coming home. Holly started her orientation today and she did well and gott hrough it. They told her they would provide lunch and they provided shitty jail bologna sandwiches.

Found our house, put offer in

I didn't really feel like looking for houses on Monday so we stayed home and relaxed. We went looking on Tuesday at 3 houses in Palmerton. The first one was ok but not quite what we were looking for. Then we found our house. Holly liked it pretty much right away and I liked most of it but not all of it. We went to the third house but we were already set and the third house wasn't that nice anyway. We made an appointment for dad to go to the house with us on Thursday. Holly had her physical and I was supposed to meet dad at ten to three. I slept through the alarm and woke up at three. Called Paulette to tell her we were running late and then called chris and told him to call dad. Got to Mt. Pocono at 3:30 and dad drove us in the grand am. We thought we knew where we were going (because of Beltsville) but we got lost along the way. We were following a school bus that led to a dead end and we asked some redneck dick how to get to 209 and he said "That's really far. Follow the bus." Idiot. So we followed it and then flagged someone down when we got to the main road intersection and he told us where to go. We ended up getting to the house 10 mins late. Dad checked it out and he liked everything he saw. The people were up at the house this week for their father's funeral (who just died last week). They came home while we were in the house but pulled out of the driveway once they saw we were still in there. We went to Paulette on Friday to make our offer. I wanted to Lowball it but she wouldn't have it and said it wasn't the greatest of ideas so we bid 180,000. Now the waiting begins. We were hoping to get some grant to pay for our closing costs but there weren't any.

On Monday I unloaded a trailer (that shouldn't have been loaded anyway, Sears TV headload that somone improperly set up). I left the Tvs in the truck and kevin was out there and he didn't know what to do with it. I told him to kick it to the yard but he kept talking about moving it that day so I left. Later Tyler (or Joe) parked a lift in the trailer. Kevin called it out and Denny pulled it out and the forklift dropped off the dock. Kevin then blamed me ( I told him to shut the door.) I was really pissed off and I yelled at him and told him he didn't tell me to shut it, especially since we were both standing there and I drove away. Jack gave me work at the end of the night and I gave it back to him and told him I was leaving. AJ started training on Thursday night. I went back to Mom's after Dad and I looked at the house on Thursday so I didn't bring my steel toe boots or badge because it was last minute. I wore sneakers on Thursday and got through mostly the whole night before someone ratted me out for wearing sneakers. Probably AJ or Kevin. Assholes.

Finally got Marvel Trading Card Game. Been playing a good deal and I'm happy I finally got it. I feel the TCG building up inside me and I think I'll be playing Magic in a few days. I haev to catch up on it. Either that or set up the VS system for Magic Workstation. Downloaded the Battlefield Demo and must say it's awesome. I'll be buying it when it comes out. I still have birthday money left. I haven't played Final Fantasy at all and Been playing San Andreas a little here and there. I want to preorder the Collectors Edition of Fallout 3. If you do at Gamestop, you get a poster and Limited Edition CD, plus the Lunchbox, art book and other things.

The House Hunt

We've been busy with house hunting most days and it's drained us both physically and emotionally. We started on Saturday June 1. I called up realty world because we saw a lot of potential houses on there and got in contact with my parent's old realtor. We gave up on the other asshole that we initially contacted. He lost an easy few grand but fuck him. We were supposed to see 4 houses but after going to the first, the people in the other three weren't home. Luckily while we were at the last house, one of the others called and we got to see their house. The first house was ok but the bedrooms were too small. The other two were shitty (one we could tell from looking in the window). The next day we looked at four and found what we thought was the house we were going to get. It had a beautiful kitchen, nice living rooms, ok rooms, and a nice little yard outside. Took dad there the next day and he inspected it for us and told us not to get it. Paula was pissed because we were ready to make an offer on it. We both went home disappointed. We went out to look again the next day (even though were weren't in the mood) and saw three beautiful homes. None of them had on street parking and only one had a yard w/ a pool and a mini barn in the back but it had asbestos siding that would have to be torn off. The other house was in Nazareth and was my favorite and is the house I want. It's a brick cape cod with three and a half bedrooms, two full baths (one with a claw tub in it instead of a shower), nice kitchen, and a finished basement which adds two more rooms. There's a two person jacuzzi in the big room in the basement (which we'd use for weightlifting i think). I would've gotten the house in a minute if it had either a yard or a driveway. We're going to fall back on that house if we don't find anything else. We're going to shift our attention away from Bangor and Pen Argyl because the houses are too old and move the search to Nazareth and Palmerton. Nazareth wasn't a bad drive and it was all on the highway, compared to Palmerton which will be all back roads. Hopefully this is the week we find something. After seeing the potential and room of a finished basement, I'd definitely like a house with one.

I finally got to play at Hazleton. After playing in the morning, Chris and I headed out there for a mini practice with a few guys from his team. It's definitely a great little rink even though it's not smooth enough to play puck on. There were a billion crunched gypsy moths all over the rink. I had a good time there and we played for a little while. On the way home Chris passed the exit to drop off his friend so we had to drive to Mt Pocono and then all the way back up to Blakeslee. We were trying to convince him to turn off on the highway but of course when he slowed down to take a turn there was a cop just leaving. We got lucky and it spooked him so he didn't take the chance. We got back later than mom wanted and I ate some pasta and went home with Jeremy. I got back to Holly's and passed out on her bed about two minutes after being home.

We took Jeremy to the Philly Zoo on Monday. It was the perfect day weather wise (I felt a bit too hot). I was physically drained from the day before even though I slept eight hours. We all had a good time. The animals weren't bad. My favorites were the monkeys and the anaconda. Jeremy liked the monkeys and the bear sloth. We saw a gorilla up close eating cabbage which impressed me. Another monkey was running around his land with a white sheet over him. Jeremy tried dip and dots and really liked it and had two servings. He saw other children with their faces painted and he wanted to get his done. He originally chose a pirate but then changed his mind and wanted to get a dinosaur. He was good getting it painted (surprised me) and he chased us around a bit roaring. He was ok at the zoo but he didn't really seem too interested in really looking at the animals. He'd look and then want to move on. He was chasing chickens around. A peacock came out from behind us and made a squawk and jumped right over a wood fence into the elephant area. He kept screaming "come back, come back" which was funny. We stopped on the way home at the rest stop for food. Roy Rogers jewed us out of biscuits. The rest stop was nicely renovated and they added some more restaurants, more efficiently using their space.

Kevin started training for Jack's job on Monday. He's too amped and strung and nervous. It's going to be aggravating working with him. Jack and most of the others turn a blind eye to things but when you have a new supervisor coming in, they always seem to want to prove themselves. I was so tired on Monday after driving all day and going to the zoo that I fell asleep in the bathroom for at least forty five minutes to an hour. I went in there to kill some time but fell asleep right away. I woke up and John and the other driving trainer was out there eating breakfast and he started talking to me about hockey but I was still half asleep and mumbling incoherent things to him. The rest of the week was ok but I can see the others getting pissed off with Kevin. Joe is leaving the office and is going to work the hub instead of the city. With any lucky and without too much aggravation, I'll be on the 7:30 as soon as we get the house. Even though it's a worse shift.

I played tennis with Ryan twice (once each week). I don't really like playing with him much thought. We don't get any kind of volley going and he doesn't like to slow serve the second ball so it just doesn't go anywhere. I went to his house yesterday after we played. He wanted to show me us .45 and we played some games. All the games sucked. I hope to go shoot that gun with him one of these days. One of the first purchases I'd like to get is a gun. Came home about 9 on Saturday and watched the Penguins game, fucked around on the xbox (tried some of the command and conquer 3 demo, as well as the battlefield demo) and fell asleep early. Woke up at seven and read my Star Wars book a bi. I'm towards the end. It's a decent book. I bought San Andreas last week but haven't played much. Every time I want to play, Jeremy wants to watch so I have to turn down the sound all the way and explain that everything I'm doing in the game is wrong. Tim drove us to hockey today. I ran into Eric and my nose is all swollen. I got on the side of it and it was bleeding pretty bad but it stopped after about 15 minutes. My nose is all red and sore and I should ice it up.

We emailed our realtor the houses we were interested in but he never got back to us. I'm going to call him to see what the deal is. These people don't seem to want to do the business. The good realtors are the annoying ones that call you five times a day. I'm also going to give the other lady a call.

It's been a boring week. Holly and I went to the library on Monday with Jeremy. Besides that, I've been in the house all week. It's been cold and miserable and raining almost every day. I finally got paid for the hours I was missing. They gave me a separate paycheck with it. About time. I beat KOTR the other day. The boss battle was the weakest i've ever faced. You get him down to half power and then he runs away and he heals and you do the same thing five or six times. While battling him the whole time, you can pause the game and use a med pac and that's the way I won it. The ending wasn't great either. I was reading the spoilers online and I was pissed that I missed a few side quests. I thought I was hitting them up pretty frequently but by not bringing that chick back to her planet when I first met her, I missed all the side missions in my party. Oh well.

Three day weekend coming up. Can't wait. AJ is off again tonight. Dennis said we could start at 11:30 if we wanted. I probably will. I wanted to try to go mountain biking with Chris tomorrow. I have to buy the bike rack so we can take his car. Mom and Dad had their anniversary on Wednesday. I was planning on trying to go to dinner with them but I didn't. I still have to get them a present.

Pre-Approved for House

Joe didn't come into work last Tuesday and Wednesday after leaving early on Monday. The days weren't too busy and we got that kid Jason to come down and help us. We got out of there early on Tuesday (but I extended it to 8:30 after speaking to Bill) and 9:00 on Wednesday. Aj and Tyler came in at 1:00 on Thursday night and left at 6. Tyler went and worked the hub for a few hours and AJ worked the city when he got there but he didn't seem to do much work. Joe and I got out of there at 10:00. I had to load pain in the ass trailers that all had to be crammed in. There was 42 bills for one trailer (cargill that had to be triple stacked and decked) and Tvs that all had to be broken down. Friday AJ and Tyler weren't in. Jason came down again to help. We got out of there at 10:30. Ended up with 4.5 for the week. It seems I finally got my hours fixed. After going to Bill again last week with my paystubs, there was an e mail from Dale saying that I was owed 5.9 hours and .7 overtime. We'll see what happens on this paycheck.

Nothing much happened during the week. Holly tried to wake me up one day to go mini golfing with her and Jeremy but I was too tired and didn't get up. She took him and they had a good time. I called a random Mortgage company on Thursday to get pre-approved but the guy said we had to prove our income by faxing him some documents. I called Century 21 the next day after Holly saw an add online for Century 21 Mortgages. I got pre-approved quickly without having to show any proof of income. They hooked us up with a realtor in the area and he called us and sent us some listing. Nothing too great. We have to e mail him back what we're interested in.

The Xbox was acting funny on Friday night before work and I thought we had the same problem as befoer and that dad would have to fix it. It was sparking and it seemed to generate no charge to the unit. I figured dad would have to toy with it again. I got up on Saturday and called Mom's and Chris told me the 360 was dead again. I flipped out. Jeremy and I went to Mom's and I found out that lazy Chris didn't plug in the AV cables and the 360 was fine. It just blinks red to alert you your cables aren't in. The original blinkes orange if the cables aren't in. I also plugged in the Xbox at home and it turned right on so hopefully both systems are good to go. I'm at the end of KOTOR and want to beat it. I've still been playing FF7 and I think I'm near the end of the first disc. I like the game and story is good. The random battles are getting old but the different enemies make it a bit varied.

I hung out at my house for a few hours. Showered, ate dinner, and played around on the computer. I got my stuff together and came back to Holly's on Saturday night. We made love, ate popcorn and watched some of the behind the scenes of the Star Wars. I've been in a mini Star Wars kick but have only read about 50 pages of the book from the library. Holly and I are going to watch all the original movies together. I tried to get the Star Wars Encyclopedia from the library but we couldn't take it out because it's considered a reference material. HA! We woke up Sunday morning early for hockey. We stopped at Walmart to buy earplugs and then went to BK for breakfast. Hockey was jammed full of people. I thought I played well and I skated hard every shift. One of my bearings broke and I put a different wheel on but I definitely need new wheels. The mini bearings make if difficult to find wheels that are well priced. I had a few goals at hockey (including one garbage goal in which the puck stopped right on the line and I pushed it in) and I had a bunch of assists. I felt strong. There were a lot of people there and we played 5 on 5. After the game we went to Aunt Mare's and I took a shower. We hung out and watched TV before leaving to go get lunch.

We went to Panera for lunch. I got the Italian sandwich and it's very very good. I found my ultimate sandwich. Much better than that jew chicken sandwich. We went to Best Buy to kill a few minutes and then headed to Jersey. We both got nervous in he cara nd thought we mght have missed the show a bit but I called Chris a few times (annoying him every time) and we found out we were right on track. We did well with directions and didn't get lost at all. We got there when the Hooters were playing and they sucked. We sat on the lawn and relaxed before going to our seats for Everclear. They were good and I liked their set. For the last song they got a whole bunch of girls on stage to dance while they played. It was annoying because all these chicks started pushing up to try to get on stage. It was still general admission at that point and we had to leave our seats to come right back to them. It was pretty asisine. Staind sucked and I fell asleep for a few mins while they played. STP came out and put on an good show. Scott fucked up a few times while singing but it's only the second tour date so they're probably still working out all the kinks. They played most of their hit songs. We both thought they were good. We walked back to the car afterwards (almost couldn't find it) and got on the highway (Holly spotted the sign at the last possible moment and were off with no hitches. I was tired driving home. I stopped on the shoulder and pissed and we headed home. We were both hungry and stopped at the rest stop for some Mcdonalds. The cunt working there was stupid and after I ordered they changed the menu to the breakfast menu (bastards!). Holly drove the rest of the way home and fell right asleep. We got home around 2:30 and went directly to bed.

Weekend Continued, Mikey's Birthday

Went home and Chris suprised mom by staying out on the deck for about ten mintues before coming in. She was happy and she sounded like she was going to cry for a minute but either I was hearing things or she got past it. She pretty much figured out he was coming from clues that my dad left. Ate dinner and hung out. Watched some of the Red Wings game. Mom got me Grand Theft Auto 4 when she went shopping. I called Tim and made plans for him to come over at 10. I started playing Grand Theft and fell asleep while playing. Tim called to tell me he was taking Dustin to hockey and mom told him I was sleeping. I called Holly to ask her to take Jeremy. I slept from about 9:30 to 4 and then got up. I fucked around the computer for a little while before starting to play Grand Theft. I couldn't hear in the room with air conditioner going so I brought the Xbox downstairs and played. Mom woke up and watched me play a bit and kept gasping whenever I'd hit someone or lose control of the car and flip it. My turn to drive hockey. Ryan was at Christine's graduation. I didn't play very well at hockey. I scored one goal and had at least one assist. I had two breakaways that I fucked up on. I was going to do that move where you go wide right all the way and then put the puck in with only the left hand on the stick but i screwed up. I also tried to do a mini toe drag to top corner shot but missed. Came home and played GTA. Chris didn't end up going to dinner with us. Dad came home early. He got my mom a card that was supposed to be from her children. He liked it because it played the horse racing song. I wasn't looking forward to going to the buffet on Mother's Day. Thought it would be too crowded. Met Aunt Mare at Big Daddy's and then followed Mom to the casino. We got in line for the buffet and there was a TV that said estimated time 7:00. They were telling people to come back at that time but after waiting about 10 minuets to pay, we got right in. We didn't have a waitress at thetable and mom had to complain to the manager so we could get sodas. The food was good. I tried a spicy tuna roll and didn't like it. I ate a little of everything and would definitely like to go back again. Dad gets so excited seeing all the different foods they have. They didn't have any ice cream for desert which was the one thing that sucked a bit. Aunt Mare gave me a 100 dollars for my birthday. We went to gamble after that. Mom tried to give me 40 to gamble with but I only took twenty. I played video poker for a bit and then went to the slots. I lost the 20 plus 15 of my own cash. The machines weren't paying out at all so I got aggrevated and left. I came close to getting a mini jackpot. The line above the pay line had a direct match of all 3 3x mulpliers. I've never seen that before. If I would've pulled the lever a milli second later maybe I would've gotten it. Came home and was really tired and fell asleep. Slept for about 12 hours. Woke up and hung around most of the day. Holly and I took Jeremy to library. We rented "Into The Wild" and "Transformers" and "Bee Movie" for Jeremy. I also got the Dark Tower book one and the next book in the Star Wars. We came home and hung out the rest of the day.

Joe left early Monday night with a swollen face and didn't come in on Tuesday. Massimo got hit in a face with a strap in his trailer and broke one of his teeth. I went to Bill Wednesday morning to try to fix my hours but he didnt' do anything. I tried to speak to him about going on another shift but he didn't seem to pay it any attention. He did tell me there was a bid coming up so we'll see what happens in the next few weeks and get it all worked out.

My birthday was nice. I got home and Holly made me a very good western omelet. We hung out and looked at houses online. She had done some research the night before but I didn't like anything she came up with. They were all older homes and too much money. We found a few houses we liked in Kunkletown, one that's especially nice and we're going to go look at it hopefully at the end of the week. Jeremy woke up and I opened my presents. He picked out a Sid figure from Ice Age. Holly got me a package of undies and Dale got me a certificate for the Boat House near the house. They got me a card that sings that Jeremy picked out. I took a shower and went to bed. Holly suprised me with Chinese for dinner. The chicken fried rice sucked (no flavor) but the lo mein was good. We ate and then took Jeremy out for a while. We played Teeball and Football before coming in to watch Transformers. Jeremy watched most of it with us but he got bored at certain points and left the room.

Holly's Graduation

It was another nasty week and I didn't get to take Jeremy outside except for Monday. We went to the basketball court and played for a while. Then we came home and ate lunch and we went out to play int he yard for a bit. It was too buggy to stay out in the yard too long so we headed in shortly after. Another week at work. Joe missed a day because his brother had a stroke. I got credited for 2.5 additional hours but didn't get the five that I needed. I spoke to both Jeff and Dale about it but it hasn't been resolved so now I have to speak to asshole Bill. I have to speak to him about my shift change as well. I still have to see what we're doing about the Stone Temple Pilots concert. We originally thought it was on a Saturday but somehow we were both mistaken and the concert is on a Sunday. I even got my mom to watch the baby overnight so we could get a hotel and took the day off work but we got fucked. Nothing notable happened the rest of the week until graduation. Woke up at 4 and headed down there. It was a nasty rainy cold night. I brought the PSP with me and played while we waited. The graduation was boring as usual but not too bad. We went to Friendly's afterward. It was nice and quiet when we got there but then the Junior Prom arrived. Dale was sitting against the wall that connected to the front door and the kids kept pushing it into the wall. He screamed at these two spanish kids and they apologized and were cautious of the door until we got out of there. I got a burger and it didn't have much taste. Got home ten minutes before work and headed there. Joe had to leave early to go to NY and Jack was in the office the whole night watching videos for his OPS position. They sent a few guys to help us but they just bayed everything and didn't load the trucks. They fucked up a crate and packing peanuts were all over the dock. AJ and Tyler left at lunch and by the time I closed all the doors, got pallet jacks and swept up a bit it was 10:45. Got home and called my house and was told to call dad. Dad wanted me to pick up Chris to surpise my mom for Mother's Day. My plan was to go to the mall with Holly and the baby to get Mother's Day/Graduation presents. We shifted plans to go to the Steamtown mall so it would be easy to get Chris. They didn't have a JC Penny in the mall. Holly bought a few pairs of undies and a Bra. She also bought a necklace and engraved our initials on it. We ate and took Jeremy outside looked at the trains. We walked along the big deck to the end and back. We're going to go back and go to the train museum with Jeremy in the near future. We went and picked Chris up and headed to Holly's. We played Tee ball with Jeremy in the yard for a little while before I took Chris home.

On Thursday morning after work, Jeremy and I made Holly a cake to celebrate her getting a job. He helped me stir the mix and then frost the cake and decorate it. I tried to write on the cake while the frosting was still wet so the writing didn't come out too well. I was getting tired at that point and wanted to go to sleep. Got my paycheck on Thursday night and noticed they shorted me out of five hours of straight time. I was going to speak to Jeff about it but everytime I went to do so, he was busy. I planned on waiting until he went into his office but he left early and I didn't get to resolve it with him. I went to worthless human resources in the morning and of course she couldn't do anything. I don't know why she works there. I explained to her how many hours were missing and she left it for Bill. He called me and said he took care of it and to see Dale when I went to work that night. I get to work and there's an e mail for Jack that says it was fixed and that they added two hours forty five minutes of straight time and forty five minutes of overtime. I'm still short two and a half hours!! The fucking center manager can't even do simple fucking tasks. On Thursday night that fucking lazy asshole fag from maintence was bringing down a skid of soda that was all fucked up and Tim asked me to get a trailer or somewhere for him to put it. I dont' know how these people advance in the companies if they can't use simple logic. Tell the fucking kid to break down the skid and restack it. If he doesn't, someone from the city will have to. I was the one who had to restack it. It really pissed me off and I have no respect for almost all management there. Friday night I was talking to AJ for a minute and we were watching the hostler back up into an open door and he slammed the trailer directly into the back of another trailer. Pretty cool. Didn't get out of there until 10 after 10.

Went home and woke Holly up and she gave Jeremy a bath before we left for my house. I was getting tired and tried to take a nap before we left but Jeremy kept coming in crying and screaming that he wanted to go Nonny's. We got there around 3 and mom wasn't home yet. I hooked up the game for Jeremy and hung out with him. Mom got home from shopping and I took a shower and went to bed. Holly woke me up at 7 and she wanted to go out. I didn't feel like going out and told her to come to my house. She cut a slit out of her eyebrow and had to go buy some makeup to cover it up and then she came to my house. We hung out downstairs for a little while. Jeremy was complaining that he didn't want to go to bed and wanted to sleep with us but after a few minutes of asking, he went to bed with mom and dad. We watched the two episodes of weeds that I downloaded and then looked for houses and apartments online. We found nice ones in Bushkill but Yahoo! maps gave us shity directions and we were fooled into believing that Bushkill was halfway between Allentown and Pocono Summit. It turned out to be wrong and we wasted our time doing it. We have a lot of work to do with getting a place and it's no doubt going to be stressful. Holly left my house at 2 or 3. I didn't do anything much after that. I started to get a bunch of games for the PSP and fell asleep playing FF7 at 4.

Tim decided to come back to hockey. Of course he didn't get along with his baseball coach and couldn't take any criticism the coach gave him. It was Tim's turn to drive. The marathon was going on and we couldn't get down 940. He went down 611 and then turned at the Tannserville Inn. We didn't know where to turn to get to Big Wheel and we ended up going in a complete circle and ended up back on 611. We got to hockey late and there was hardly anyone there. The teams only had 5 people each. It was Dave's last week which may kill the league because he brings his son and the other kid. I have a feeling attendance is going to dwindle like last year until there's almost no one there in the summer. I hope we can continue to play. Came home and watched the game. The refs are so fucking fixed. The rangers played decent but couldn't get any momentum going after the bullshit 4 minute major at the end of the game and going into overtime. Flyers fans will see how fixed it is in the next series. After the game I brought Jeremy over to Tim's to play with Dustin and Dacy. He played hockey for a little while with Dustin and then started to play with the Tee Ball. He really liked it and we'll have to pick him up one next time we got to the store. Tim gave Jeremy a Crosby stick he picked up when Dustin was a baby. It's really nice and I'm going to cut it down. Ate dinner and came home. I wanted to hang out with Holly but of course I fell asleep. She went to bed really late last night and didn't sleep before work so she'll probably come home from work and go straight to bed.

Didn't take Jeremy out at all last week because the weather was miserable. It's supposed to be better this week and hopefully I'll get to take him out at least once a day. It's still a bit chilly right now but I'll take him out in a few hours.

I got another chaffing rash on my dick last week but it seems to have started to heal.

Aunt Mare wants to move to NY again and went to look at an apartment in Staten Island on Saturday.

Holly got a job!

Decided to go food shopping after work on Wednesday. Got home from food shopping and found Holly and Jeremy were both still sleeping. I went outside and rode my bike for a little while. I took it around the community and through the woods for a bit. Got home and checked the star nut and found it was almost completely out of the fork. I banged it down with a hammer. I hope it doesn't keep giving me problems. I forgot to bring my shock pump home so I don't know what air pressure the shock is set at. They seem a bit tender and I was worried about bottoming out with them. I have to add more air to them. They're too squishy to get any momentum going. I started to play Final Fantasy 7. I'm only past the opening sequence. Seems decent enough. Couldn't get Flow to work. Holly woke up and started to get ready for work. SHe was wearing khakis and I told her to wear something more formal. I stressed her out telling her to change her outfits. I played KOTOR a bit and went to bed. Holly woke me up when she came home. SHE GOT THE JOB!!!! 29 DOLLARS AN HOUR!!! Allentown baby!! That's 20,000 more than Pocono Speech. I'm proud of her and hope she likes it when she eventually starts. All the years of waiting are finally almost up. We're almost out of here and in our own place for the first time. I'm counting down the hours. I hung out for a while and then helped Jeremy play his game. I was really tired and started to fall asleep while playing. I told him it was time to turn it off and he threw a fit. We both fell asleep and Holly woke me up and I went to work. Got around 40 minutes overtime.
Didn't really do too much on Saturday night. Hooked up the electric guitar and tried to play for a while but I can never get it to sound right. There are too many different options on both the amp and guitar pedal to get a nice crisp alternative sound. I attempted to play Shaiya again and I like it more than I did the first time. My first character is on the original server, which lagged quite a bit. They just made a new server and I created a new character and it took away some of the lag issues. I chose a mage in the both of them. It seems like a game that's worth the investment of time. I watched the first period of the Philly game but as usual, couldn't get into it. I played a bit of Oblivion and got myself a badass horse that rides like lightning and gets up on its hind legs and fights with you. Not bad at all. I got bored and tired and went to sleep earlier than normal.

It was my turn to drive to hockey on Sunday. I got a surprise when Tim didn't walk into the car. Ryan told me he was done with hockey was trying out for baseball. It seemed to come out of the blue but the last few weeks he's been frustrated there and he's probably tired of it again. He does it every so often, just like Chris. I used to do the same. I didn't play that well at hockey but i held my own. Had an awesome deflection goal and at least one assist. I had a few shots on goal but none too great. I was rushing up on offense and made a pass and suddenly had a sharp pain below my ribs on the right side. I immediately came off the floor and sat. I pulled a muscle down there and it was killing me. I did manage to finish out the game but with pain. Stopped at the hardware store on the way home and bought two nuts for the bike. I came home and watched the Rangers game. It was a disappointing game. They didn't play with any of the ferocity that they played with in game 1. They sat back and play more of a defensive game. They didn't have the offensive pressure they needed to win the game. There were some bullshit calls (Crosby diving, Staal playing with a broken stick, and the potential Rangers goal that was whistled down on the way past the goal line. The next game is on tonight and I hope they start to play tonight at home. It's either do or die tonight. Hung out the rest of the night. Tried to make dad help me with the disc brakes but he basically modded them the way I was doing it. We only got the back down and I quit on the front. I installed the new nut and then had a loose headset that took some time to get ride of. I put the new bolt on there and it wouldn't come out. I was banging up on handlebars and it knocked the star nut upwards to almost the top of the fork. I have to knock it back down before I go riding. Mom made me eggplant for dinner. After dinner I watched King of the Hill and Simpsons and came home. I took some Naproxen when I came back here and it knocked me out. I play Scooby with Jeremy a bit and passed out in bed.

I was planning on going for a bike ride Monday morning while Jeremy was sleeping but it was raining. I woke up with Hollly and move my car and stayed up and played KOTOR. I had to stay off the internet because she was expecting a phone call from the job in Allentown. I played for a while and then wound up falling asleep while playing (I think from the Naproxen again). Woke up after about an hour and a half and played a lot of Scooby Doo with Jeremy. I tried to get FF7 to work but it didn't happen and I didn't go online for more than fifteen minutes total. Jeremy and I did well in the game. Around 4 we took a nap and woke up when Holly got home. Didn't do much the rest of the night. I read about the PSP and found out what steps I have to take to play the new games. I got Flow and FF7 but neither work without a new firmware. I quit playing Grand Theft. Work was ok even though I was in a bad mood. I got an hour of overtime. Came home and started to download the firmware with a download accelerator I got last night. Doesn't seem to work too great on low speed.

Got home Thursday morning and Jeremy wasn't pleasant. I tried to get him to eat breakfast (or anything for that matter) and he wouldn't. I told him I would take him out or let him play his game if he did but he didn't so he didn't get rewarded at all. Friday I took him out fishing with me. I attempted to just tie a rubber leech to the string but it cut right through the leech so i used a hook but hooked through the body so none of the hook was exposed. He was pretty good while I was fishing but he got bored pretty quickly. I didn't catch any fish or really see any in the lake. Last year when I went there you could see a lot of them right from the shore. All I saw this time was one or two pickerel. I got one or two small bites but couldn't get the fish. After we fished we went to the shuffleboard court and threw rocks on it. We went to the playground and walked around near the lake and then threw some rocks in. Came home and went to sleep. Holly woke me up and we went straight to the welcome center. She got McDonalds for dinner so we could get there as soon as possible but I still missed the first period. The board members were down there while I was watching the game and I couldn't help but think they were watching me. There were a few people down there using the computers. Jeremy wasn't too good while we were there. He was running around and screaming and climbing on the furniture. I wouldn't have cared if no one was there but it's rude when people are there. Rangers lost the game after being up 3-0. Jagr hit the post at the end. Don't want to go into it too much. It was an entertaining game nonetheless. Came home and hung out and went to work. Got an hour and a half extra at work. Went back to Holly's and slept. She took her Praxis but doesn't know how she did. She got fucked and got a test that had a lot of questions about school therapy. Just our luck.

Jeremy started signing the "Itsy Bitsy Spider' out of the blue the other day. It was funny and cute. I don't know where he picked it up from. I was singing it to him a few weeks ago but he was annoyed when I was doing it. He could've heard it on TV.

I started playing GTA: Liberty City Stories. It's pretty fun and I like it more than I thought I would. IGN just came out with its review of GTA:4 and it got a perfect 10. No game has gotten that score in ten years. The video review was shitty but the written review was 7 pages. I'll probably just stop playing Liberty City Stories and wait to get GTA 4 because it'll be more of the same game over and over.

4/24/08

Beat Super Metroid yesterday. I thought I was going to have a high score for unlockables but it only turned out to be 76%. I was disappointed; thought it was going to be in the high 80's or low 90's. It seemed like I found powerup after powerup. I'm going to look up the locations of all of them. Hopefully there's a youtube video. I beat the game in something like 9 hours. I started Grand Theft Auto: Libery City Stories but haven't put more than 20 minutes into it. I'm going to attempt to play it and see if I get bored of it. I went for another bike ride yesterday. Did a few miles but at a faster pace. The bike handles great and I'm looking forward to getting on it as much as possible. The derailleur has to be adjusted because it isn't shifting crisply. I really want to get on the mountain bike this weekend or next week. I still have to get the two bolts for it. The road bike gives me that nice feeling of speed and handling but the mountain bike gives me the feeling of accomplishment. After my bike ride I came home and took a quick bath and basically went straight to sleep. Holly had to get her cavities filled and then she went to pick up her cap and gown and to get me some boxer briefs. My balls were hanging too low the other day, especially when riding the bike. The undies are more comfortable than I thought they would be. Holly woke me up at 6 on Wednesday and we went to Mcdonalds. Jeremy acted OK. It took him forever to eat his four chicken nuggets. We let him play for a little while afterwards but we were both tired of being there and left shortly after. Holly's dad went to get our gate cards updated and the update didn't take the right way so we couldn't get into the gate on the way home. I had to go inside to tell the woman and she only gave me access until the end of the month. We got home and told him and he was steaming. I messed around online when we got home and played some KOTOR. I finished almost all the missions on the Wookie world and will be going to a new world next time I play the game. I'm not really in the mood for the game as of right now though. I might just put on Riddick because I can go for an action/shooting game. Got about half an hour of overtime at work yesterday and twenty minutes today. After work I went to Walmart to get strawberries for Holly. I decided to get my fishing license while I was there. Ran into Carol and spoke to her for a minute. Got the new style fishing license. I was debating whether or not to go today. The lake looked choppy when I drove past.

Tuesday Morning

Took a nap after watching the first period of the Red Wings game on Sunday. I got up and downloaded a few applications for the PSP but didn't play with any of them yet. I attempted to get Weeds and Final Fantasy 7 but they didn't finish in time. Came home and hung out with Holly and we ended up watching Alien vs. Predator 2. The quality was shitty and the movie itself was pretty bad. I struggled to stay awake the whole time and I don't even remember who makes it out in the end.

Got up at 7:30 on Monday because I had to move the van for Holly. I decided to stay up. I played Metroid for a little while. Jeremy was up with me but fell asleep watching me play the game. After he fell asleep I decided to take the bike out and go for a ride. I filled up the front tire but had trouble filling up the back. It didn't take air right away and I had to play with it. I thought I had a flat but I finally got it to fill up. Hopefully my mountain bike is the same with a slow leak. I rode around the community in a big loop and took Locust Ridge from the other entrance to our entrance. I didn't feel too fatigued while riding. I came home and took Jeremy outside. He rode his bike to the playground but the bugs were bothering him and he was getting distracted while riding the bike. I brought the soccer ball and we kicked it around for a bit. We only stayed at the playground for about 20 minutes before he wanted to come home. He didn't even slide down the slide. He did ride home and I had to push the bike home for him. Came home and hung out and played Metroid. Went to take a nap at 4:30. Holly woke me up when she came home but we wound up taking a nap together. Jeremy crawled into bed with us later. We woke up at 10 and soon thereafter I headed off to work. Got an hour overtime at work. Going to take Jeremy outside in a few minutes, after I'm done feeding him his peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Saturday Night/Sunday

Holly woke me up at around 6:00 and we tried to make plans where we wanted to eat. She suggested Sara Street Grill. I looked up the menu online and found out that they have some pretty funky selections so we ended up going to Friendly's. She looked stunning when I met her. We had a nice dinner together and just sat together and talked. I got the steak and chicken combo but found the steak was much too greasy this time. I should've gotten the cod. We started to head towards Mt. Pocono but decided to go to Target to walk around. She looked around but didn't buy anything. I was really horny because of the hotness so we went to the K-Mart parking lot to take care of business. I fingered her while she sucked me off. It was very nice. We cleaned up and started to make our way over to Walmart when a car came toward us and almost crashed into our side. This spic cunt opened her door and started pointing to her cellphone and her hand and was saying "Donde". There was a guy in the car with her but he didn't even make eye contact with us. We didn't know what the fuck she was talking about. She followed us out of the parking lot but went back into K-mart. I assume she was either a drug dealer or was waiting for a dealer. We did our food shopping and parted ways for the night. I came home and played on the computer for a little while. I got Chris 311 and got Holly an album and downloaded Vice City Stories for myself. I decided that I'm not going to get Warcraft and just focus on free online MMORPGs instead of paying for one. Plus with all the console games it's a waste of money. Shaiya seems to have a decent amount of people in the game and it's on par with Warcraft so i'll just play that if I want to play one. I started playing Metroid and wound up playing for hours. I was stuck and trying to figure out where to go and just couldn't put it down. I ended up going to bed at 5:30 and waking up at 8:00. I have to take a quick nap later. I'm planning on watching the Red Wings game at 3.

Ryan drove to hockey. Tye didn't show up so we only had one goalie and didn't know what to do. The tatoo kid used to play so he suited up for us. It seemed to take him an extremely long time to suit up so by the time we started it was after 10:00. Tim and I dressed in white. I played defense. My first shift I was covering the annoying kid as he drove to the net. I stick checked his stick to kill his chance to receive a pass and he immediately started cursing and getting crazy about it. Bobby came out and started playing him hard and the kid got pissed off and started going at it with Bobby. He skated and rammed Bobby after the play and Bobby ended up pushing him over the goalie. They started cursing at each other and had to be restrained. Towards the end of the game the kid got pissed off at Bill and tackled him football style after a play. We ended up playing decent together with a lot of passing. I thought I played fairly well defenseively and scored one goal. I had a few shots on goal as well but messed up some of my passes. It was a close game and really fun but it was way too short. As we were walking out Dave and the annoying kid were yelling at each other. Dave usually calls him a crackhead and I guess he said that to him and they got into it. The kid was cursing at him as he was walking out the door. I could see the kid being amped up something because of the way he was acting today.

Rangers Clinch!!!

On Thursday got home from work and did the usual morning routine (eat, bathe, internet) and started to play Super Metroid. Jeremy was really into it. I let him press the fire button while I control Samus. I tried to get him to go outside after that but he didn't want to and asked me to put a movie on in the room for him. I did and went out to the basketball court for about half an hour. While there, I decided it was too nice of a day for him to sit inside so I came home and again suggested we go outside. This time he wanted to. I got out his bike for him and we started to ride toward the basketball court. The bike is way too small for him now and we quickly turned back and dropped off the bike at the house. On the way to the basketball court, a german shepherd rushed out of the house before the clubhouse and ran towards me barking. I thought the thing was going to attack and I put my left arm out and braced for it to bite me while I took my right arm and pushed Jeremy in back of me. I stared at him and he kept barking at me until a young kid came to get him. A lab also ran out when the kid came out to get the dog. I showed the lake across from the clubhouse but he wasn't interested. He played on the playground for a little while and then we headed home. I was getting tired and the sun was beating down directly on him. We played soccer in the yard for a few minutes before we came in and I went to bed.

Friday I came home from work and took him with me to the basketball court. I was shooting around while he played in the sand with the toys from Dustin's party. We stayed for a little while but again it was too sunny out. We headed towards the other playground but were only there for about two minutes before Jeremy said he had to pee and wanted to go home.

Friday night I woke up when Holly got home and we all ate and then headed to the welcome center. I missed the first period but got to see the other two. Drury scored right away to take a 4-1 lead but the Devils scored two shitty goals and the game was too close for comfort. A penalty shot denied by the king with ten minutes left. Dubinsky scored an empty net goal with a minute left to seal the deal. I thought we'd definitely see the Pens the next round but with the Bruins winning and going to game 7, who knows what will happen. I hope the Bruins win so they'll get the Pens next round and we get the Philly/Washington winner.

I was really tired at work and almost left another bill out of a trailer. That's twice in two nights. I left two skids of Procter and Gamble on the dock on Thursday night. I've vowed to only scan one bill at a time to avoid this from happening again. I had to write a statement about a missing bundle of magazines. Jews! I remember being pissed because the small skid wasn't even recouped when it came to us, just thrown in the truck. What am I going to do with ten copies of Cycling World. One copy, yeah. If I was going to steal, I'd steal something worthwhile. I was dragging ass and had a shitty loaded towards the end of the shift Friday. Bummed a cig from Joe and got the rest of the shift over with. Ended up with 1:45 overtime for the day and almost four for the week.

Get home and Aunt Linda, Cindy, and Asleigh are over. Just the people I want to see after a shitty day of work. I hung out for a little while and played Metroid and then we headed home.

I was playing Chrono Trigger earlier in the week but it didn't do anything for me. The game was too easy and I'm not interested in playing a game just to play a game. I want something that's going to be challenging or fun or interesting. I initially wanted to play Super Mario World: Yoshi's Island but it wasn't running right on the emulator. It was going too slow so I tried to play with the settings, which made it run faster but parts of the level were disappearing. It may work with the sound off completely but I wanted the sound to work. So after giving up with that I started to play Super Metroid.

Thursday Morning

I beat God of War on Monday. I was considering playing the bonus content but got bored with it pretty quick. I've been eating like a complete pig lately but I don't care. I'm tired of eating bland foods like some pussy weight watching cunt. I want to start riding my mountain bike and I think I'm going to try to get my mountain bike in riding shape. I have to buy at least two screws and a new tube. I'll have dad help me get the disc brakes 100%. I was really in the mood to go fishing this morning and was going to stop for my license on the way home but I didn't have the fishing pole so it was kind of pointless. I was thinking of going to my parent's to get the pole and driving back but it was too much driving with the car, especially after work. I've also been in the mood to play the guitar and I may bring my acoustic to Holly's again. See how I feel after the weekend. I want to rip on the electric but we'll see if I do it this weekend or not. I never really got the urge to get on the electric and strum, I'd rather do it on the acoustic.

Holly followed her dad to Merle's. The car actually made it without breaking down, which suprised me. I didn't want her to get stuck on the highway, with him expecting her to push the car like last time. Jeremy got to run around at Merle's for a while and Dale took them both out for pizza on the way home. She woke me up at 6:15, later then I wanted to get up. I got up and boiled chicken and Holly cut the veggies for the shiska bobs. We put them on the sticks, cooked them and ate. We all went to the welcome center around 8:15. I missed the first half of the game. On the way to the welcome center I heard on Farell that the Devils tied up the game. Got into the welcome center and just missed the Rangers score. The Devils scored soon thereafter and it was a back and forth game. I didn't think the Rangers were playing well enough to win at the end, with the mementum the Devils showed but they scored with three minutes left and the Devils never really had another chance during the game. The next Ranger game is on Friday night. I'd like to go home and watch it but doubt I'll be able to. Jeremy was coloring and playing with a 550 piece cat puzzle while Holly attempted to do work. There were two old men playing pool that left shortly after we got there and two people that were sitting at the table reading. Jeremy was talking loudly and we had to keep telling him to shush. He brought home this 60 page Scooby book that's made for a 10 year old. I read him the first two chapters and will try to read him two or so every day.

I got another half an hour of overtime this morning. Came home and Jeremy was sleeping in the bed with Scoob Doo playing. I'm going to take a bath and see if he wants to go outside when he wakes up. I'll see if he lets me go to the basketball hoop so I can shoot around for a little while.
